Bendigo is ok for rooms in the week but try to get one over a weekend.they are either unavailable or ridiculously priced, can even go double depending what is on in town which is why you are here.Beginning to price themselves out i may as well drive to melb and have heaps more options ,reasonable price, and public transport

Plenty of local attractions to see, with lots of period architecture.
Foodies are very well catered for with abundant little restaurants all through the city centre and some amazing menu items.
Two recommendations are the Golden Square Hotel (I ordered Thia Red Duck Curry, which was very nice. But when I saw the Chef's special for the night coming out - Porterhouse Steak and Pot/Glass of wine $28 - I wished I had ordered that instead.
The other one is Sim'r in Hargreaves St, which has some amazing things on the menu and make in-house a range of amazing breads

Borchelli Italian restaurant is great, with excellent meals and desserts. Bendigo Art Gallery is worth a visit, with the current Paris: Impressions of Life exhibition. The Hat Shop is also fun, with a huge selection of hats. The Australian Eucalyptus Oil Company has a good selection of products for gifts, plus plenty of shops to suit all tastes.

Staff were extremely friendly.
Staff were extremely friendly. Meals in Restaurant were lovely and I thought they were very reasonably priced.
It is directly across the road from talking tram and Deborah Goldmine. Very good bakery close walking distance and a Coles Express beside it.
A little bit far from centre of things. Also I would have liked room cleaned during our 5 night stay. But we were allowed to ask for fresh towels from reception, when we needed them.
All in all we enjoyed our stay but would probably get a bigger family room if possible.

Bendigo may only be the fourth largest city in Victoria (...
Bendigo may only be the fourth largest city in Victoria (behind Geelong and Ballarat) but it punches way above its weight for charm, history, architecture, fine dining and just plain fun. There's always lots to see and do but whenever Bendigo puts on a special event - like the Agricultural Show, or the Easter Festival, it's always spectacular.
Good location- directly across the street from Deborah gold mine and the start of the talking tram. Approx 15-20km walk from centre of town ( or a $15 taxi ride).
Free parking at the hotel. Lovely pool and heated indoor spa. Room very spacious with large bed and sofa. Very comfortable bed- almost as good as our bed at home. Spa bath just about big enough for 2. Lovely hot shower with good pressure.
Room and pool area both very clean and well looked after.
Pub/ restaurant has a good varied menu with many GF options and good food.
Hostess was professional but very friendly, super quick to reply and help before we arrived. On arrival, all was as stated on booking.com and by the hostess. All bedrooms had power sockets in easily usable spaces. Toilet was separate to bathroom which was great with adult family. Lounge is large. Everything is set up for 8 people as described. Host has S&P, some olive oil, tea/coffee, sugar, milk and some fruit already for use. Very helpful. Will stay again on our trips to Bendigo in future instead of in motels.
Beautiful estate to stay at in bendigo. Trip was cut short due to covid but had a fantastic night there. Exceptional hosts with a warm, relaxing and luxurious stay. This place is a must stay if you’re visiting the area. Nothing like conventional hotels, has the vibe of a high end European luxury hotel. Beautiful rooms within the estate to sit around and enjoy the provided port while reading, relaxing and playing the piano. Everything from the linen to breakfast to toiletries is high end. Will be back!!
Kerry and Rod who run the property were wonderful. My husband was taken ill and Kerry called an ambulance and Rod waited outside to guide them in. My husband was taken to hospital. He was discharged the next day and I asked Kerry if she could ring a taxi for me. She wouldn’t let me get a taxi and she drove me to the hospital to pick my husband up and brought us back to the hotel. They were so kind to us and we can’t thank them enough. We would recommend this property because of the couple who run it.
My recent stay at Bendigo All Seasons was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff provided a warm welcome and attentive service. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The bistro was excellent, offering a diverse menu of delicious dishes. The staff provided exceptional service and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Good old fashioned customer service with a smile. Highly recommended.
The building is beautiful and unique and we loved that it is a historical building still being well patronised and used. Our room was really roomy and well appointed, with everything working. It was very clean and cleaning staff were lovely. It retained the feel of an old hotel. The main bar was lovely to sit in for a pleasant drink overlooking the beautiful Bendigo streetscape.
The Elm Motel was great value for money. The room was just a room with no table to sit at. However it suited my needs of somewhere to sleep. Coming from QLD, Bendigo was extremly cold and i felt the heater took hours to get to room temperature. Perhaps it needed a service or filter clean? The room was extremly quite and I like using a pin code with contactless check in .
We enjoyed everything about Abbey View. On a rushed trip to attend the Elvis Exhibition the location was excellent for us and for anyone else intending to visit the Bendigo Art Gallery. Comfortable and quality accommodation, bedding and kitchen facilities along with an excellent heating & cooling split system(s). Totally recommend Abbey View and we will return.
- the room was spotlessly clean
- it was great having a small balcony and being able to let fresh air in
- the little cafe was really convenient and dinner was good
- the location was great with a nice walk along Bendigo creek and gardens
- the shower was strong
- great artwork throughout the hotel
- the linen was lovely and beds comfy

Thanks again Jenny and Abode Bendigo Apartment
Really convenient location, hotel is just down the street from the centre of Bendigo, opposite a lake with some nice cafes. Lots of covered parking and easy access with a pram. The staff were really wonderful and super accomodating. The room was quiet, really big and had everything we needed.
Beautifully renovated cottage so much more inviting and cosy than hotel rooms generally on offer. Large walk in showers, comfy beds and heating. Fully equipped kitchen & laundry etc - perfect for a longer stay. Well located with cafe across the road and pub around the corner.
The property is located just outside of the bush centre and on a service road and is therefore much quieter than comparable motels in Bendigo. I regularly stay here for this reason and because the beds are very comfortable too, and the rooms are clean and dark.
Plenty of room to move in the unit.
Nextdoor to the hotel which served excellent meals .
Spabath as well as separate shower.
Eve rything that one needs.
And friendly,polite smiling staff.
good location easy to get around Bendigo,
the room was clean and comfortable
the AC was good and save us, as it was really HOT, and the AC cooled the room down very quickly
