Beautiful heritage real estate, a lovely Central Park and Mount panorama. Shopping opportunities are limited as are eateries after 5 pm. Easy to walk around and park - lovely wide streets built for horse and carriages. A lovely regional art gallery and Doppio Bathurst is a great spot to grab a coffee on route from the train station to town. Al Denté is a great cafe in town for wholesome options for breakfast and lunch - opens very early and you can read the local rag.

I was at Bathurst for work.
I was at Bathurst for work. The view I had from my hotel room was the famous Bathurst racing track. which was lovely to look out on too.
I didn't get much time to explore and would like to visit again so I can take in more of the charming old town. People were very friendly, and everything was pretty close by, I ate at the George Pub as the food was so lovely, and The Ridges wasn't serving dinner on the Sunday and Monday nights I was staying.
I would definitely recommend a visit to Bathurst, and I will also visit again and hopefully will get to stay longer.

Have passed through Bathurst many times and this was the first time we stayed.
Has awesome parks and walking tracks. Felt very safe walking around town late on a Friday night. Lots of old buildings with excellent descriptions of their history.
Ice-cream shop was packed and doing a roaring trade. Yummo.
Found a coffee shop open at 6am on a Saturday morning and coffee was sensational.
Driving the track is always a highlight as well.
Next time will be staying several days.

Lots to see and do. Just being there was nice.
Lots to see and do. Just being there was nice. The Motor Museum, the race track obviously but just the lovely streets and beautiful old buildings. Abercrombie house was a highlight too.
The only thing was the huge central park was closed due to the 'possibility' of falling branches from bats. It was over kill. Nanny state philosophy. Very disappointing by local council.
Otherwise would have loved to stay longer than 3 days.

A beautiful town with flat landscape which enables easy walking around. I only stayed there one night, but loved what I saw, and I intend to go back :) On our way home to the apartments that we stayed, we called into the local Whisky bar for a nightcap before bed, and then the next morning one of the local hotels had the BEST BREAKFAST EVER!
Staff were really friendly and service was great especially the lovely lady cooking us breakfast the next morning. The Knicker is situated in an ideal location being in the center of Bathurst. They also had off street parking in a secure location at the back of the pub. Beer was cold and tasted great along with the food. Being in the middle of winter in Bathurst the heating in the place was excellent with a very comfy room. I'd recommend staying here if your single or a couple.
From check in, to check out, all the staff were so welcoming and friendly, especially Jan, who chatted with us about the hotel. Excellent customer service. Room was basic pub accommodation, but very clean and comfy, and great location. 2 x $5 vouchers were provided for use in the pub's, Duck and Drake Cafe for brekky the next morning. Delicious food and lovely view through the open windows onto George Street and Machettie Park. Great value!
This was a great hotel to stay in, and I would definitely stay there again. The room was a good size, with a bathroom that wasn't too small and the bed was SO comfortable. There was also a delicious free breakfast every morning! It wasn't just a buffet, you could put in an order for eggs a specific way and let them know what time you'd need it, so when you headed into the bistro, it was ready and waiting. It was so good!
The room was clean and presentable with very comfortable beds and extra pillows and blankets. Coffee and tea were supplied with a starter milk in the fridge. Bathroom was very clean and well supplied with toiletries. Staff were polite and helpful. The motor inn was located within walking distance of the Dudley Hotel which offered a wide choice of meals and an open fire. On site parking was very convenient.
We like the breakfast which is 5-star hotel level, healthy and worthy. Owners ,Theresa & Andrew, are so lovely and friendly.
It is such a beautiful property clean and tidy and comfortable, not far from either city center or Mt Panorama. We will stay there again if we go to Bathurst next time.
Spacious room (deluxe studio), fairly well equipped, clean (apart from the kitchenware) and great view of the race track. The room was very well priced at it was out of season and the hotel were kind enough to refund some of our stay when we had to leave early due to new covid restrictions.
Walking distance to the heart of Bathurst shops and right near The Oxford Pub which was great for casual dinners. We had everything we needed in our room, clean linen and beds were top quality! Great all round experience, we will stay again for the price and convenience!
Terrific location in a fairly quiet street close to Bathurst's CBD made it easy to access shops, cafes, restaurants and museums etc. Apartment was clean, well equipped and the bathroom and bedroom very comfy. We'll be staying here next time we stay in Bathurst.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable, rooms we clean and it is in a great location. Overall, we would highly recommend The Victoria Hotel for a place to stay in Bathurst.
The hotel and facilities were as expected, clean and tidy. The onsite restaurant was great with lovely staff and food options. This hotel overall though is excellent value for money and will be my go to in Bathurst in the future.
Room was very clean and spacious. Requested large bed was comfortable though a bit harder than my own bed. I was able to sleep well as the location at the rear was quiet. Always enjoy my stay in Bathurst at the Littomore.
Studio cabin was comfortable and adequate for an over night stay in Bathurst - we didn't use any of the other facilities in the caravan park as it was too cold to be outside while we were there.
This is the fourth time we have stayed at Encore Apartments and as before the apartments are very clean and tidy with great beds. Location is good with a 5 minute walk to the main street.
Hosts are lovely; location wonderfully quiet and peaceful yet so close to everything Bathurst has to offer; amenities were fabulously clean, comfortable and well appointed.
This has become our favourite place to stay in Bathurst. Danara Cottage is clean, well equipped and enjoyable. The host is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!!
