Albany is beautiful especially at this time of the year. Loads of nice restaurants and cafes to visit. Well stocked supermarkets for some self catering. Plenty of places to visit and explore. Wilson’s brewery was our favourite place to visit. We went twice 😃Also loved seeing the chainsaw sculpture drive.

There is a lot to see and do in Albany. Your first stop should be the Albany Visitors Centre which was more than helpful pointing out various places to go and things to see. Most shops are closed on a Sunday so be prepared.

Quirky old town with an auction room and couple of antique...
Quirky old town with an auction room and couple of antique shops for perusal. Variety of restaurants and pubs though the prices are city rather than rural. The old whaling station and the brig 'Amity' are worth a visit and the nearby wind farm perched on the cliffs gives a wild and windy outlook. Two nights is enough before moving on.
I have stayed at many parks before around Australia and this was my first time at Big4 Emu Beach Holiday Park. It was fantastic. Quiet, friendly, well designed and the staff were fantastic. The cabin room exceeded my expectations and was very clean. I will most definitely stay here again, with my family next time. Forget overpriced Rottnest Island and other resorts close to Perth. For the extra few hours drive through beautiful country towns, come to Albany and stay at the Big4 Emu. You will not be disappointed.
The elegance of the house and the nice little touches which make this house into a home away from home (the Christmas tree was an unexpected bonus). The house is filled with light and access to the outside verandah is available from every room. The views are great and the location is peaceful and tranquil. I started to relax the moment we entered the house. I highly recommend it as the only true luxury accommodation in Albany, and I'm looking forward to my next stay in this wonderful house.
We love Albany and especially Middleton Beach. Dolphin Lodge is perfectly placed at Middleton Beach, a stunning long white beach with Ellen Cove tucked under the edge of Mt Clarence.
Great dining places nearby, peaceful, pleasant and relaxed.
Our apartment was lovely, comfortable and very well equipped for self sufficiency; close to eating places, mountain treks and beach walks, swimming.
The location was beautiful, within walking distance of Middleton Beach.
I can only describe the Units as perfect! The kitchen was well appointed, and functional
The bed was enormous and soo comfortable
Finally the staff were very friendly and helpful.
we will certainly recommend this to our friends and we will stay here in our future visits to Albany
Close to Middleton Beach and amenities such as a bar, cafe and fish and chip shop. The property was spacious with 3 large bedrooms which comfortably accommodated 6 adults. There were 2 bathrooms and all the amenities required for a self contained apartment. On site parking was also available. All this for a very reasonable price.
The staff were amazing - very friendly - the bed and pillows both top class - awesome views from our room - loved our stay. We have uploaded a short video with a few clips of the hotel on our channel - lookup "Mark and Mandy Out and About" and then find the video called Albany Granite Skywalk Fail - enjoy - Mark n Mandy
The people working at Six Degrees are all really friendly. Rooms are relatively clean with the exception of stained carpets. Room prices are competitive. The hotel's location is excellent - within walking distance of both the water & the city center. The restaurant/pub downstairs serves good food.
Great location, close to the water and only 10 to 15 minutes from town and stores. Great café down the road and excellent fishing off the rocks. A path to walk or ride that goes all the way to Middleton beach. The morning cups of tea overlooking the water are most excellent.
Location is very close to Middleton Beach, Lake Seppings walk, the Board walk and walk trail / cycle path to Emu Point. Close to coffee shop and wine bar. The Villa is very comfortable, beds are good, lovely hot shower and washing facilities.
Great weather, nice apartament
I was in Albany 4 times it was the best place to holiday great .....great accommodation ,short distance to the beach and restaurants. There is one problem we often go me and my husband. Thank you Caroline.
Fantastic location. The cabins were very clean and well equipped.
We loved the bbq area with views to the ocean.
The Oceanside walk path is right out front, great for walks to the inlet and Emu Point or Middleton beach.
Great location and wonderful hosts. We had a special week here!
The house was unique, loved the decor, the space, the chickens, the comfort and that it was pet friendly! A beautiful place to stay.
The Villa was very clean & comfortable and in an excellent location , between Middleton beach & Emu point.
A short walk to the beach and Golf club , and close to all Albany attractions in the car.
We like good value and this has to be the best value in town. We have stayed here before and we will probably stay here again as it has everything we need in a self contained apartment.
location was great; will do much to raise the bar for hotel accommodation in Albany.
breakfast was good - plenty of selection; with food hot including plates.
