Scratch the surface of Australia’s undiscovered gem with its blend of wonderful beaches, wide boulevards and extensive parklands including the Adelaide Botanic Garden. The City of Churches chimes to the beat during festival season with the Adelaide Festival of Arts, Adelaide Fringe and WOMADelaide.
The Torrens River flows through the city from the surrounding Mount Lofty Ranges. The Adelaide Hills features The Cleland Conservation Park that includes a wildlife park where you can pat koalas and Mount Lofty Summit with its panoramic views of the city. Adelaide is a lovely clean city with lots of excellent restaurants and bars. We enjoyed our bus tour of the city, the zoo with the pandas, Hardorf and the wineries. The markets only sell food but they are excellent markets. Well done Adelaide, you are a lovely city.

Adelaide has some of the best restaurants I have ever eaten...
Adelaide has some of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at before. Fugazzi, Press, Oggi, Nico are all exceptional. The architecture is beautiful full of sandstone buildings. The Torrens river precinct is relaxing and beautiful to view and wander along the walking paths. The city is easy to negotiate and with the wineries so close it is well worth spending a few days in the city.
