It's been a while since our last trip to Adelaide, however it won't be our last. A vibrant, clean and well organised City, with easy transport options and a variety of things to do and places to visit. Glenelg a short tram ride away and well worth a visit.
We embarked on 2 day trips to the winery regions, with our first including a City highlights tour as well as a 2 hour stop in Hahndorf. Both were excellent value.
Adelaide Central Markets a must do, with a plethora of of differing foods. Very clean and impressive displays.

I went to the Adelaide Oval to see a football game.
I went to the Adelaide Oval to see a football game. It's a great venue to watch football. I also went on two day tours. One was to the Barossa where we went to some wineries. We also went to Maggie Beer and a chocolate shop.
The tour tour we went to Mount Lofty, Berenberg and then did a boat cruise on the Murray river and had lunch.
I also went to Glenelg which is very pretty. There are lots of shops and restaurants in Glenelg.
Rundle Mall is also very nice.

Brilliant events in the Adelaide Festival. especially Writer's Week and the Fringe Festival.
Amazing collection of Aboriginal artefacts in the museum.
Lovely to have the CBD surrounded by parks.
There were a number of things. Firstly, the location of the hotel is great, it is near cafes and restaurants (if you didn't want to eat at the Hotel). We discovered we were very close to a number of places that would keep everyone entertained including an Escape room, indoor golf and Rundle Mall. We decided to take a 15min walk to the Adelaide Zoo! The TRYP staff were all lovely, very friendly and helpful. We also liked the 1st floor terrace where we enjoyed after diner drinks.
Hotel is very conveniently located and has most of the facilities one would expect of a hotel in Adelaide's CBD.
I like the easy of parking, as well as the ease of getting around the hotel - 3 lifts means you don't have to wait long to get to the area of the hotel you wish to go.
The room I stayed in was nice and clean and bathroom was surprisingly large.
Staff are friendly and polite and I like that room service is available.
Good location on North Terrace which is within walking distance to Rundle Mall, museum, library and Botanic Gardens. We had a deluxe 1 bedroom apartment overlooking North Terrace. There is traffic noise if you open the balcony doors but it is to be expected in the CBD. Good King size bed which was firm. We pre booked a park in the building car park. This apartment has everything you need for visiting Adelaide for a few days.
The convenience to the Adelaide CBD and Adelaide's inner Eastern suburbs.
The staff were attentive, friendly, responsive, and yet unobtrusive.
The balcony permitted an excellent view of the Adelaide Christmas Pageant, which includes Pulteney Street as part of its route.
The apartments are part of Adelaide's historic architecture and the high ceilings and solid construction made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.
Friendly and helpful staff -Michelle is lovely
Housekeeping are great in maintaining cleanliness and replenished daily water and tea facilities to accommodate the number of guests in our booking
Great location and access to Adelaide CBD
Room was large enough to accommodate family
Large bathroom
Coffee and tea making facilities with fridge
Comfortable room
Rooms were clean. Nice to sleep in a king bed which was very comfortable. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Checked out bang on 10 and no pressure to be out quick. Great to have a nice hotel outside of the CBD. Pt Adelaide was a little surprise with lots of Cafe's and so clean. Only 5 min drive to Semaphore beach.
I love staying in this small boutique hotel that has friendly staff, is always clean, in a great CBD location and excellent value for money. I have stayed here dozens of times since it first opened. I also love the heritage facade and the history of what the building original built to house - an orphanage.
location was awesome, staff were extremely helpful.
bed was abit firm. sofa bed was abit uncomfortable
parking was abit of a walk away from hotel and parking spots were super tight had to squeeze out without hitting other car doors. great stay though and would stay there again when I return to Adelaide
Fantastic location is Adelaide. We were able to walk or use public transportation during our stay, to reach the points that we needed to see. Hotel satff were super friendly. Breakfast buffet was delicios, and offered a lot of choices for the money. Rooms was SPOTLESSLY clean.
The location was good and bad. It required costly parking if accessed by automobile, but conveniently located in Central Adelaide. The checkin was awkward at the hour we arrived, but it still accomplished the result, our stay. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable!
Very clean, central location with pleasant staff. Walking distance to a large number of restaurants, bars, cafes, cinema complex, North Terrance attractions, Adelaide oval and shopping. Great choice for a two night getaway in Adelaide CBD or any of our Festivals.
A great location in the heart of Adelaide’s party street, made for easy accomodation and access to all things in the CBD. Was only a short stay but the Grand Chancellor provided a comfortable stay after a busy day and night with minimal hassles!
The hotel is a bit old, but the price is very competitive in the CBD of Adelaide, especially the location is very good, there is a free tram not far from the door, walking to Skycity, the Convention Center and the Torrens River are very close.
The bed was comfortable, the location excellent, the bathroom bigger than most motel rooms! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly recommend The Quality Apartments for a comfy, clean and central location for Adelaide CBD.
A small, simple hotel but has everything you need. The location is far enough out of the CBD to be quiet but close enough to walk everywhere. We were able to walk to all the venues for te Adelaide Festival.
The rooms were clean and tidy... Really tiny for the amount paid. I happened to stay at another hotel close by that was cheaper and larger with everything that was offered at Ibis
Location was really great. In the heart of CBD.
My room was really spacious, and has a good view of the city in the balcony.
In general, the place was really clean too.
Over a period of a month for work I stayed in 4 x different serviced apartments in adelaide CBD .Hume Serviced apartments was the most cost effective ,quiet + spacious
ease of check in/out. Facilities in the Hotel and the surrounding area. Close proximity to food, shopping and the CBD without being in the heart of Adelaide.
