If you are into wine then this whole area is fabulous. In September the grape harvest is underway and there is a real buzz. Plenty of opportunity for wine tasting and good food. The landscape in Vougeot is classic as it is all over Burgundy.
Amazing hotel, extremely clean, updated rooms, modern shower and comfortable bed. Welcoming staff, the receptionist printed us a list of restaurants in a less than 5km radius around the hotel.
Conveniently located close to Vougeot Castle and wine domains. Charming, peaceful and relaxing environment. Breakfast was great! The best hotel we stayed at, during our trip in Burgundy!
A wide variety of wines is available in the private cavern - which you can enjoy on the terrace with a beautiful view over the vineyards and Clos de Vougeot. If you’re lucky your room has the same view!
Delicous breakfast with use of rather local products (juice, fruits, marmalade and cheeses).
The host and personnel were very friendly and spoke English really well.
Excellent overnight. Amazingly comfortable beds. Spotless. All newly done.
It’s really a beautiful place to stay and a very welcome overnight stop. Lots of beautiful flowers, good breakfast, restaurant next door that was ok for a meal.
Nicest dog friendly hotel we have stayed in.
This is a beautiful collection of buildings, not all in great condition but given the size and age, that is to be expected. The EV charging point was very good, free and a welcome aspect of the hotel. I turned up in the dark and the buildings and entire area are truly stunning.
A beautiful chateau run by beautiful people. We loved the traditional decor, the history, days by the pool and drinks on the terrace. A very magical place. The young man on the terrace bar was exceptional, lovely manner, professional and an asset to the hotel. Thank you.
We were there for a wedding and really appreciated our stay there - the staff is welcoming and efficient (quick check in). The hotel is very cute and the room comfortable, the pool is really appreciated; would definitely come back!
The hotel buildings, pool and grounds are 5 star gorgeous. The renovations done to create this property were left with no detail overlooked. Spectacular. Housekeeping and cleanliness were imoeccable. Landscaping is breathtaking.
The hotel has been completely modernised with contemporary styling in old stone buildings, beautifully renovated
Breakfast was freshly ordered and ready on time for our departure.
Lovely family restaurant right next door.
The hotel location is excellent, you can see the Chateau de Vougeot and the surrounding vineyards from your room. Very nice breakfast which is simple but very tasty, mostly based on local products.
