Good location close to the old town and the huge railway station. Breakfast was good with plenty of selection, only timed boiled eggs as the only food hot option, but not really an issue. Good easy and secure parking for car or motorbike . Friendly staff.

Convenient location, 10-15 minute walk from city center and served by several frequent bus lines (I was traveling without a car). The room is compact but functional. It was a treat to have a TV after staying in campgrounds and hostels. Really nice to have a mini fridge, microwave, and dishes. One evening I bought some food at the nearby Carrefour City market (5 minute walk) and was thus able to have a fairly tasty meal in the room when it was rather late to go to a restaurant. Yann was very responsive; he answered my questions quickly and also gave me some good tips on where to find a nice beach when the weather got hot. When it did get hot I was afraid the room might be too stuffy, but I was able to keep the window open at night (the exterior metal blind provided security) and stay cool enough.
