This was the sixth time I stayed at the hotel.
This was the sixth time I stayed at the hotel.
A very nice restaurant, L'Arbalète, just across from the hotel.
Everything is well within walking distance.
I always bring my bicycle along as this area has fantastic routes to suit any preferences one might have.
There is nothing requiring change in this village.

Ribeauville is a great launching place for sites in the Alsatian wine region. It's very close to all of the sites that matter most, and has a lot going for it in and of itself. It's probably my favorite of the towns in Alsace... it has just enough to please the tourists, yet feels more residential than more famous spots like Riquewihr and Kaysersberg.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and it was quiet at night which was great. The location is superb, in the center of Ribeauvillé and near other beautiful villages and cities. There are several public parking lots nearby. The access code for the front door and the room door worked perfectly. We didn't meet the host in person but they were available via messages and responded quickly. We enjoyed our stay!
Once again, Hotel Au Lion did not disappoint! Our stay was fabulous, from the lovely Aperol Spritz on the comfortable patio in the afternoon to a delicious breakfast in the charming breakfast room! Friendly, witty and responsive customer service was outstanding. We look forward to retuning in October.
The room was really big, like a small studio with everything you need for a one night stay. You can park in the courtyard, so perfect and located in the centre of Ribeauvillé. Staff is really friendly and helpful. And if you would like and have time, you can have a wine tasting! Amazing.
Quiet! Especially like the extra door between the bedroom and the bathroom / closet area, gives you an extra sound buffer from the hotel corridor. Despite being right next to the breakfast room, it stayed quiet. Staff very helpful. Shorter walk into town than you think.
Nice big room, plenty of bedding. It was quiet and hotel/ restaurant staff were friendly
The restaurant itself was nice, onion soup was super. Staff were a little overworked I think. Lovely location
Great location just minutes from downtown. Free parking at the 'hotel. Good breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
Bonus jacuzzi (the water should have been warmer) and sauna .
Apartment on the ground floor - everything you need for short stay was available. Location is in the hart of Ribeauville, parking is nearby, restaurants and vine cellars are around the corner :).
We have been to this area several times and this was our first stay in town and we loved the location. An elevator is a bonus as well as being able to park in the square in front of the hotel.
we liked it very much! it is an authentic place
in a very beautiful village in amazing area, nice room
good food
and a very nice family is managing the hotel and restaurant
😊
Authentic Alsace home. The kids enjoyed using the serving window to assist in serving drinks and food. Updated kitchen and comfortable beds. Centrally located.
The room is small but cosy, right in the main street of Ribeauvillé, there is a parking in 2 minutes. Tastefully decorated, the bed is very comfortable.
