The kiosk to order food downstairs and they brought the ordered food up to your room (we ordered Italian), the breakfast was good and def worthy of the 10 euros price, and the lockers for your luggage were not expensive for a whole day and fit 3 carry-on suitcases and 3 additional handbag. The bed was also big enough for 2 people. New towels when asked/day. The staff was nice and spoke good English! Metro stations and a grocery store next to the hotel and no one cared if you took food up your room. Check-in was throughout the day whenever you wanted, and checkout was late (at 12).

The train and bus system is excellent. Here's the biggest tip I'd give anyone visiting the city: download a compass app on your phone. Paris has more multi-road intersections I've ever seen and there are few N-S E-W streets.
The museum and historical sites are also fantastic. The food was great and so many types to choose from. We found everyone we engaged with to be friendly.

The second time I came to Paris, there were a lot of people.
The second time I came to Paris, there were a lot of people. The commercial development was transitional, and the residents were not as friendly and gave people a sense of security as before. People on the road feel very alert. There are more consumption traps than before, and consumption has become much more expensive.

Speaking as a woman in her 20s, Paris is so majestic.
Speaking as a woman in her 20s, Paris is so majestic. I loved every minute of it and I already went twice. The architecture, the streets, the opera, the parks and of course her majesty the Eiffel Tower. Some people think that Paris is over-rated and some other people can't get enough of it. If you love fashion, aesthetics, art, theater, taking pictures, history, museums then you're going to so have fun in Paris. Great food can be found too! Even in one of those restaurants in the Eiffel Tower itself. The steak entrecôte is also worth it, but frog legs - are not for everyone!

Stay away from tourist sites!
Stay away from tourist sites! Thousands of person only there because someone told them to be there, not because they even had any reverence for Sacre Coeur or the Louvre! My cousin said they "went to the Louvre just to see the Mona Lisa, but then it was just this little thing..." I looked up Montmartre toward the cathedral and all I saw was 1000 people sitting on the steps watching acrobats. I left.
Foraging on my own, I found sites and museums I had never heard of and loved them. One must constantly watch for bikes and scooters. Corners are highly dangerous as anything on wheels can come flying around them no matter who has the actual rightofway.
French trains are easy to manage for day trips.
1 year of college French 60 years ago still allowed me to operate in stores every day. Get Google translate and then look up possible words you will need before you go out.
NOTE: I did not go to even one of the "Popular places in Paris!

Sight seeing is what it’s all about.
Sight seeing is what it’s all about. Have a wine bottle opener handy and grab some wine, cheese and bread and sit in front of the attractions. Have one fancy dinner out and eat like the French, plan to sit for hours and take it in. Boat tour at night plan it to be in route after 9 pm so you can see the Eiffel Tower in all her glory.

Love Paris, no matter what!!
Love Paris, no matter what!! I find more French people in all walks of life speak English more and friendlier. Only problem is Taxi. Drivers were rough, not courteous and non speaking English. I stopped using after couple of times and started to call Uber, which was a great surprise!! They were efficient, reliable, friendly, professional and cheaper!! I am so happy to know Uber is freely accessible in Paris.
Paris is my second home that I cannot possibly write all the charms here but it is always beautiful and exciting. Visited pharmacies, art supply shop, Monoprix, Samaritane, Lafayette. Found and bought many skincare products and out of this world cookies and chestnuts paste at Monoprix. I can see why all my friends in other EU countries look up Paris and yarning to visit. Paris is the city of beauty, excitement and excellence above all the other cities.
Location was great! Breakfast was delishes! Mr. Reseptionist was the best!
He was able to help me with any questions I had. He speaks English very well and that was helpful and maid my days in Paris easy going.Room was clean an quite! Walking distance from most famous attractions in Paris. Great restaurants on the same street! I was able to store my luggage after checked out time whitout extra charges! Thank you very much little hotel near Eiffel Tower! I really appreciate all you had done for me. Sinserely, Senya.
Great location. Extremely clean rooms, bathroom was a bit small but that is not a problem especially because it's Paris. The rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels bedsheets everything. Lovely lobby area in the hotel. Breakfast was good, just the usual pastries bread cereal but cheaper than going to a cafe! 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and easy access every other major attraction by the metro stations near by. Nice area too with lots of nice restaurants and cafes. Had a really good stay here.
I expected it to be a bit rubbish, to be honest, because it's a cheap hotel that we booked at very short notice. Actually, it's got charm. It's clean, the staff are nice, and when you're leaning out of your window over the tiny balcony, four floors up a slightly wonky staircase, looking out onto the mansard roofs and tall windows of the courtyard and listening to the muffled bustle of the rue de St Antoine - you know you could be nowhere else but Paris.
Much nicer than I expected considering how cheap it was! Very clean and comfortable bed, decent sized bathroom, super friendly and helpful staff and fresh pastries and coffee for breakfast every morning. Unbeatable location in easy walking distance of the metro and most of the major museums. Still pretty modest accommodation obviously, but definitely one of the better budget hotels in central Paris!
The best hotel we stayed during our trip to North of France which is kids friendly. The room was clean and had a quiet corner for us to put the travel cot (which they provided for free). The shower was a bit small but good enough for a hot shower. The breakfast was very good and the lady at the kitchen very friendly helping with baby chair and toys. Good value for Paris.
Room was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful with bus tickets and directions. Location was lovely in the Montmartre area lots of cafes, restaurants to walk about and just that little away from all the hustle and bustle of Paris center, buses were cheap and easy to use if you have someone clever on the phone maps.
We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room, which was large compared to many hotels in France. The room was lovely and we had a wonderful view of Notre Dame. In addition, the staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and outgoing. Dino and Jess, in particular. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
Great stay. Friendliest hotel staff I had in France. One block to Eiffel Tower. I walked over tot he Christmas Markets in front of the tower. I able to walk outside in the evening in front of hotel and catch the sparkling lights on the tower, on the hour. The taxis are always lined up outside the hotel. Very convenient. I would stay here again.
I enjoyed my stay at Hotel France Albion. My room was quite comfortable, everyone at the hotel was very helpful. I enjoyed the neighborhood, there was a great variety of food options in the neighborhood. Also, there were a couple convenient Metro stations very close by. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
The location. It’s just 8 min walk to Gare Montparnasse. Very convenient if you’re traveling by train within France. Metro station Gaite is just outside the hotel. So many restaurants nearby. Monoprix supermarket is less than 10 min walk away. Also, hotel breakfast is good. Room is tidy with Nespresso coffee machine.
Lovely family-run local hotel, super clean and safe - and the area is slightly more residential so packed with great restaurants without the price tag of central Paris! Staff were super nice and accommodating, knowing a bit of French helps anywhere in France, but they went out of their way to make my stay memorable!
We had a very nice stay in Paris because of Ibis Hotel. You can travel best by metro, because it is cheap and you can travel everywhere. I would suggest metro Château Landon which is less than 5 minutes walk. The hotel room is clean, and is nice and cosy. Also the coworkers can speak fluently English.
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Bedford three nights to see the finish of the Tour de France. We loved staying at this hotel and found it to be elegant, very comfortable and clean, and the concierge service is extremely helpful. The location is outstanding for sightseeing and eating out in Paris!
Room small but reasonably comfortable. Staff nice and friendly. Lovely little breakfast, although would have liked more healthy options, but I understand that in a small and relatively cheap Paris hotel, it would not be cost effectively possible. Therefore, it was very acceptable.
My friends and I stayed here twice once in September once in October, I found the staff very friendly. They helped us find a solution for storing our luggage for over 3 weeks while we were on a bike tour in France. I plan to stay here the next time I visit Paris.
Dry friendly staff and beautiful boutique hotel . Booked last minute upon arrival to the airport in France . Location is excellent great cafe and restaurants as well as grocery store on the same block .Metro 5 minutes away walking.
It was nicely clean, everyday we had clean towels and bed made up. Employees were friendly and helpful. Was easy to go to the city as the metro station was only 250m away. Nice local bakerys near hotel, cheaper than in city centre.
Basically the only redeeming quality of this place was its location, a convenient 7-minute walk away from the Paris Convention Center where we were attending a conference. The breakfast was also decent for Paris/France standards.
The bed was amazing, very comfortable. I loved the shower as well, you don’t have to hold anything during the bath (like others hotels in France). Very clean and organized.
