Beautiful sandy beach which goes on forever.
Beautiful sandy beach which goes on forever. Dog friendly restaurants, shops and part of the beach. Sandy dunes to walk, nature reserve and picturesque holiday houses lining the avenue. All walkable from wherever you stay in the town. Delicious fresh seafood at La Terasse and Les Delices restaurants. Friendly people. Perfect holiday location.

A delightful northern French seaside town.
A delightful northern French seaside town. Off the beaten track but certainly worth the detour. Several quirky local shops worth browsing as well restaurants and a long sandy beach. Quiet out of season but still somewhere we enjoy visiting.

The place has a nice community feel.
The place has a nice community feel. It's a seaside town where they've chosen not to have shops on the sea front, thankfully, but nice looking houses or flats. There are the normal seaside shops and eateries (an excellent fish restaurant where we enjoyed a lovely 3 course meal) but also some more upmarket shops. The beach is very sandy with a long stretch of dunes. It would be a great place for a family holiday although we were rather windswept when we were there. In easy reach of other towns such as Rue and close to A16.

Rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet is ample ( but maybe not up to today's standards either). Good coffee! Good mussels in the brasserie downstairs.
