The hotel was located on Futuroscope with Futuroscope pricing for what was a rather basic hotel. If you are looking for a good value overnight stop-over of reasonable quality during a long journey, you might well be a little disappointed and would do well to avoid the Futuroscope resort area to get better value.

What wasn't the best was the bedrooms at the hotel. I wrote a message to Booking.com but they just sent me a standard response with a toll-free number that didn't work from a French mobile! It was really Booking.com that made the false promises, saying that if you're at Genius Level 2 you can get a free upgrade (not true!) and free breakfast for the family (fake news!) and I had chosen this particular place because it was a Genius choice hotel in the area I needed to stay in! The best part of my stay was when I moved into a better hotel down the road!!!

At first I was very excited to go on vacation however there is really not much to do especially for adults the bars close at 21h and not open on Saturday and Sundays. The entertainment centres are really terrible. For a place like this you would expect lots of activities but seems like the only thing is happening in futuroscope. There is so much potential in this small place. Even the savage is 30min away very inconvenient

Perfect for a one night stay to break up a long journey. V.close to the motorway. Our daughter loved the bunk bed and we thought the beds were exceptionally comfortable for a budget class hotel. Basic but modern and not totally soulless as was expecting. Easy parking. We’ll definitely seek out Ibis Budget for future motorway stop offs.

A nice French-style little village, where tranquility and sympathy go hand in hand. Quieter than Poitiers and much closer, when visiting the Futuroscope thematic park. The Chateau du Clos de la Ribaudiere is always a must stay when in the region, although prices can be challenging for some purses.

We communicated with the hotel that we would arrive earlier than the regular check-in time of 15:00 so that could enjoy our visit to Futuroscope. This was arranged for by the hotel, and our room was already available at 13:00 which was highly appreciated. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Wifi worked without problems. The hotel pool is very nice especially since it was very hot (30 C).

Breakfast was good and the future hotel tycoon at the reception had hospitality as het second name. He really is a nice and humorous guy. Tip: In general the hotel offered a great breakfast. It would be very thoughtful to have a basket with already cooked eggs. As a gesture it now is possible to cook them yourself, but this resulted in a liquid egg as I'm not used to cooking my eggs the classic way :)
