At presen Cerbere streets under under renovovation which made a bit difficult to find the property. However, once there we met de very cordial hosts who were bending over backward to make our stay memorable. To overcome the difficulties with the French strike we were even taken across the border to catch our train.

Cerbère is the last village in France before reaching the Spanish border - it is the quietest of the towns on this bit of coast, but there is easy access to the (much larger and busier) towns of Banyuls-sur-Mer and Collioure, either by car or via a short train or bus ride. You really don't need to a car to visit this coastline - the train station is a couple of hundred metres from the sea front, and there is a regular service to the other towns along the coast. Highly recommended for a quiet, low carbon holiday. The beaches are amazing: the water is crystal clear and there are a lot of fish! There is also lots of beautiful walking along the coast path.

This town doesn't have a nice atmosphere like the other towns at the coast. People don't greet you at the street but stare at you like you are unwelcome. There are a lot of broken cars parked in the streets, many people looking homeless on some of the streets. The people in the supermarkets are not really friendly and the place has this spooky atmosphere. I wouldn't make a detour for this place.
The bakery in the town is probably the nicest place here, and you're close to the Spanish border and the coast.

No staff on site at night and for most of the day.
An asylum seeker knocked on the door on our first night there and I had to deal with a clearly desperate person. I felt bad turning him away.
Staff smoking in the kitchen seemingly the standard practice as there was no attempt to hide it.
On the first day, our room was not made up
No kettle in the room so you have to walk to town for a refreshment.
On the third day we were hassled by a drone being flown right up to the balcony and then up and down and side to side. It transpired to be a guest taking photographs.
The views are stunning, the staff were pleasant, the bed was really comfortable and the shower is great.
Location, atmosphere and utilities. Special thanks for the attention to details and nice surprise for my kid, having his BD. Hotel has a nice kitchen where you can treat yourself with tea/coffee and store some minor staff in the fridge. Terrace has amazing view and all you need to have romantic evening.
Absolutely amazing location with breathtaking views over Cerbere. Rooms were spotless and very very comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was fantastic! Staff were very helpful and facilitated an early check in for us which was great.
Little bit old but clean and simple hotel in a good location. Good value for the price. Free parking on the street. There is no fridge in the room but we could use the fridge at the reception:)
Good simple hotel. WiFi was good. The room was as described in the photos. There was plenty of hot water for the shower. When reception was closed access was easy through a key coded door.
* Central location in Cerbère.
* The service felt personal yet not too personal.
* Cozy common areas.
* My room was big and included a well equipped kitchen.
* The bed was comfortable.
