Only stay here if you are trying to save money otherwise find a better hotel, biggest gripe I have stayed for 4 days never had town service, place is hard to find if you don’t know where to look, biggest problem the shower has a push button and only runs for a short time, not impressed!

Yöpuu is a kind of dream place for me. I have been there once earlier, in the midst of a heavy work task and everything was great even then. This time I knew what to expect - and your hotel exceeded all the expectations. Thank you so much.

Jyvastyla was a great surprise, we visited the Aalto museum, which was excellent. We walk to the University of Jyvaskyla, very impressive and beautiful. We could walk in to the lecture halls, libraries, class rooms. Many restaurants and cafes.
I would go back once more to see the city center and galleries.

The right season needs to be chosen to visit this town.
The right season needs to be chosen to visit this town. I'd recommend late spring, summer or early autumn. But not December. January and February might work only if you're coming here for skiing. There are not much entertainings, mostly just stores and restaurants in the downtown, prices in groceries might be even higher than in Helsinki. People are friendly, surprisingly a lot of teenagers. Staying here for one night is enough to see harbour, observation tower, central square and church, couple of local museums, stores and restaurants. Can recommend Verona pizzeria, great pizza, kebab and pasta, decent prices, location in the centre, and Haiku sushi, with good selection of sushi and friendly owner! You can just walk around, no need fir public transportation, it will take 5 minutes to get to the centre from the railway station.

People are supportive if you need to ask information.
I expect a different architecture: the buildings do not have a particular style but the university is really excellent
This is a centrally located hotel with the location that simply cannot be beaten. There are so many details around it and regardless of that fact, it retains its interior calm atmosphere. The cleanliness is really on a high level and above everything, thank you for your early, abundant breakfast that allowed me to catch the bus for Petäjävesi on time. The room itself was very good and perfect for a good night rest. If returning to Jyväskylä, Hotel Verso will be my home away from home again without any doubt.
Clean, simple. If by a chance you need to stay longer, it has everything - a complete kitchen, laudary machine, TV, etc. The location is superb, it cannot be better in Jyväskylä. Just cross the street and you'll be at the harbour. A good and large supermarket is very near. If you want to be active, this is a place to be, as well. I didn't really meet the land owner, but they were available on whatsapp instantly, and helpful. So, it was a really good experience to me.
Made a reservation for a room for two in assumption that bed would be big enough, but unfortunately it wasn’t. Luckily there was a bigger room available with bigger room with bigger bed with small additional price which was acceptable, so all went well and enjoyed our trip. Would visit again. - Unfortunately did not visit the hotel restaurant, but would would visit gladly in next visit as all seemed good. Recommended!
This is our 2nd time staying here and it was as lovely as the first time. The hostess is really friendly and easy to communicate with. The place is cosy and comfortable. It feels like living in your home with hotel service. Susanna provides amenities beyond the norm to ensure your stay is comfortable, cosy and convenient. Thank you again for hosting us in your lovely apartment.
Beds were very good to sleep in and rooms execptionally clean. Corona measures were good (even gloves given to handle things in the breakfast buffet). Breakfast had good options and lots of organic ones too. Overall a good basic hotel to stay in. Free electrical car charging included in the parking price was a definite positive surprise.
The property was fair and clean, but I’ve been in better hotels under the same company in northern Finland. Breakfast was ok and the room was big, but it was on the first floor so it wasn’t the best option I could have had. Staff was helpful and friendly and I got the room in a short period what was a big plus.
Great amenities, fantastic Wi-Fi, very comfortable bed, very good light shielding (very important for Jyväskylän summer nights when it never gets dark), everything necessary (and beyond necessary) was in the apartment, the host is responsive and helpful.
The location is perfect by the promenade of the city. The staff is always friendly, parking is affordable and accessible with a lift near the reception and they have really nice sauna facilities. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious.
The hotel was lively, very kid friendly with play rooms and soft play, bouncy castle and role play rooms, the restaurants were big and child friendly and the food was ok.
The breakfast selection was amazing.
The spa was good and warm.
The hotel is near train station and walking distance from city centre. It seemed that there were not that many customers and the room was very quiet. There was enough space in the room and there was places to put down staff. Big windows.
No breakfast was provided at the facility but there was tea and coffee and good kitchen facilities. The location was also good as the property was well located to the University of Jyväskylä.
10/10, absolutely wonderful place. Super clean, comfortable and pet friendly. Stayed when travelling to Jyväskylä Ski Marathon and would like to come again next year.
