Don't believe we got the best sea view room in the hotel - but.....
Beds were very hard - but apparently if you ask you can get a "topper" mattress - but we didn't know that
Food for a large hotel relies substantially on a buffet system - which the hotel did well - constantly changing themes.
There are 3 a la carte restaurants although 2 of them are choice of 2 options through the menu - and one carried a £15.00 per head surcharge. And a Lobster night carried a £90.00 per head surcharge.
The third (Coral) was excellent and had a bit wider choice. Street food for lunch was an excellent idea.
Boat trips were good and plenty of other "things to do" other than 3 swimming pools - all lovely.
"No Kids" label was frankly terrific!

Interesting laid back and relaxing location...great views and just a great place to be especially if you'd like a more "normal" less hotel-ly experience of this fantastic island. Island easy to get around with a car. We stayed a week which was great...10 days would be ideal as I didn't manage to get to the reserve island or do as much snorkelling as I'd have liked
The staff was friendly, the location is nice, beside the fact it was close to a noisy road. The exterior design is cute and modern. The room was o.k but not the cleanest. The food is weakness point; it seems as they make things ready hours before serving and the vegetables look very poor and not fresh. We saw a few time things that were served for dinner, giving again for breakfast (leftovers). The food in general is not very tasty. All in all a cute hotel but not something to write about home.
It´s a very good property with beautiful nature. The approach of hotel to nature. recycling, and creating sustainable environment is perfect. The staff was amazing, they always so kind and doing their best to help you whenever you need. Me and my wife also enjoyed the restaurants but if you are vegan could be hard for you bit, There is vegan corner but with less options. If you are meat, chicken, fish person this is your place. Also the options for beach and pools are more than enough.
Small hotel in a beautiful tropical garden with flamboyant trees, palm trees and bananas. Tastefully decorated rooms. Outstandingly friendly hosts and staff. Very personal and private atmospere. Naturally filtered, chlorine-free pool with four twin sunbeds available for only eight rooms at all. Great breakfast, served à la carte with choices from English to healthy, each accompanied by a fresh fruit plate and fresh juices with fruits from their own garden.
The whole stay was wonderful from start to finish. The staff were all so lovely & friendly - Anne Lise especially was incredible, always smiling and extremely helpful with anything we needed. The food was delicious with so much to choose from. The hotel had lots of fun activities and great live entertainment in the evening. Could not recommend it more. Also we loved how they have a dog ambassador who looks after the dog residents at the hotel!
The hotel is really nice, very cosy and clean. Breakfast is also very good, nice options :) Great team around the owner Antoine, really lovely!
Outstanding: We had to postpone our stay for one day and the hotel adjusted it without any charges for that day (despite being non-refundable). Great customer service!
to be honest this is 5 star hotel with really good servic but, we can’t say it’s luxry hotel,
the service is really good, they carefully listen to what we need, even the chef came to us and asked if we need something special to dinner.. this is incredible they wanted to make sure if our stay is remarkable …
There is a self-service, local tea bar open all day.
The beach is nice, safe and right across the street from the hotel (and with cute dogs and puppies that live there).
Beach towels can be acquired for a deposit and changed whenever needed.
Live music at the bar in the evenings and for Sunday breakfast.
Overall nice hotel, we really enjoyed the food. We have tried three restaurants Kot Nou, Lemongrass and Coral. It was a good experience, also tried the SPA, it was lovely. There were also nice activities included such as snorkeling and pool party and evening show every night with live music.
Expansive with various beach and pool areas, private areas too. F&B is outstanding. Warm attentive room design. App for activity in the area too, plus best kite beach in the north in front on the hotel entrance. Overal very stylish, calm and top quality vibe with top notch team.
Quiet location right on the beach at Cap Malheureux. Close to Red Roof Church. Apartment has all necessary amenities for a very comfortable self-catering stay. Driving distance to Grand Baie and all northern attractions which makes the apartment a good base.

They gave all the necessary information and good advice about the island. Staff and hotel owners are friendly and welcoming. There are many places to see on the island. My advice to travelers is to rent a car.
Absolutely beautiful hotel with stunning views and a perfectly relaxing atmosphere. The facilities were awesome. Best massage I’ve ever had in the spa. Staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming.
Lovely boutique hotel, good food, excellent wine list, attentive lovely staff, great room, on a large plot giving maximum space, excellent choice of swimming pools and a choice of restaurants.
Location & setting of the hotel amazing. Great views, different places to chill, various activities. Food fantastic. Staff great and so attentive and friendly.
