The villa was huge! It was a classic italian villa, really felt like we were part of the culture! The pool was wonderful, a complete lifesaver in the Sicilian heat!

Nice atmosphere with an artistic touch that does a lot of good for those who appreciate art and painting. The lady who runs the place is very caring. Staff offers help and make many facilities available to the client. Among other services, Mariclà have prepared a gluten and lactose free breakfast for me because I have a food allergy. Anyway clients can cook like at home and eat either in the garden or in the kitchen where there are many tables.

I have nothing negative to say. The owner and her son were the kindest most helpful people you could ever wish to meet. They went out of their way to look after us and we definitely want to go back. Beautiful location, lovely building and awesome people. I can’t rate them highly enough. You could see Mount Etna from the bedroom balcony, the buses were reliable, the local pizza shop was fabulous and not expensive. Unfortunately, I ran into some major travel issues and had to fly into Palermo instead of Catania and my host, Giuseppe, actually drove all the way to Palermo to pick me up and bring me to Viagrande. He is an incredibly kind and generous host with a love of art and the culture of his island! I also found the mobile wifi unit he provides his guests with to be very convenient for walking around and exploring.JessicaUnited States of America
