Lovely long and golden sandy beach with lots of bars and restaurants right on the beach or in town, serving fresh fish, pizzas etc. There are sun beds for hire on the beach and it is very pleasant to walk along by the sea or on the paths through the trees. I have been to Silvi Marina in both winter and summer. Summer is fantastic with the beach on your doorstep. It's a bustling little town in summer with lots of places to eat, activities and of course the beautiful countryside. My winter trip was just as lovely and relaxing with lots more walks and trips into the countryside. The town of course was quiet as it is very seasonal but still a great place to relax and recharge.

At this time of year the holidaymakers have gone home. The plus side to this is the town is quiet. The down side is many of the restaurants and shops have closed for the winter, just like the summer seaside resorts in the UK. However in the summer it's super busy but the weather is fabulous, lots of restaurants and gelateria's, lovely beach and friendly people. It is a quaint little place with Silvi Paese to the north which was founded in 12th/13th centuries and the views from there along the coast are magnificent.JanUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0
Silvi Marina is a great place to stay with children.
Silvi Marina is a great place to stay with children. It is a tranquil place with a big sandy beach and shallow sea. We stayed there for 10 days in the beginnig of June. At the beginning there were only a few tourists there but as the days went by there were more and more of them. I do not recommend going there in August as the place is full of people. Worth mentioning is also the fact that almost noone here speaks English and any other language than Italian. If you want to see other places than Silvi you need to rent a car (However, it is not possible in Silvi, only in Pescara). The public transport here is not very good.

Is really perfect. It's located 2 minutes (literally) from the beach. The breakfast is very good with home made cakes by the lady who runs the place. They always make sure you have enough and are satisfied. In the morning, always an excellent breakfast from Mrs. Leonela and wonderful coffee from Mr. Bruno. Thanks also for the beach snacks :-).
