Beautiful town but unfortunately we were only there for one night. If you want to see the Penguins then this is the spot. Lovely harbour and plenty of restaurants as well. Lovely beach and safe area

We love Simonstown. It is so quaint and picturesque. We love the historical buildings and the friendliness of the people. It is a wonderful tourist destination as Cape Point is nearby as well as Boulders Beach with the famous penquins. Stunning views over the bay with the pretty yachts to view.

We had an amazing stay.
We had an amazing stay. Sandy was always available when needed. Talita and Johan welcomed us and familiarised us with the property and surrounding areas. Everything that we needed was provided. Thanks for the bottle of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it

Simon's Town is the perfect place to go to, to not be in the city, to relax and to unwind.
Boulder Beach was an exciting experience, and we truly enjoyed it.
We ate at Fran's Place on the Waterfront, and had the most delicious Seafood Platter.
The food at Willets Hotel is just as amazing!
In Sea Point, Cape Town itself, it feels unsafe to sit on the Beach for too long, but in Simon's Town we stayed on Long Beach until sunset.
It was a calming few days. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Lovely locals and felt very safe here. Fantastic spot for shopping and earthing and drinking. Drive to Cape Point and surrounding coast is amazing.
A little noisy late evening and early morning due to comings and goings with deliveries etc.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to entertain younger kids without the big commercial rush of the bigger more popular areas in Cape Town, I recommend Simons Town. So much to do with younger kids who enjoy the outdoors without the rush of a lot of people around you.
Liesal and Peter are absolutely wonderful hosts . The room and the property is absolutely stunning ,the views from the balcony are breathtaking and the staff is wonderful and warm .
The overall stay was one of the best for me , because Liesal had a thorough insights and recommendations about access , transport , food options , what to explore etc .
I had a very comfortable stay and really felt like home despite being a first time traveller to Cape town . Thanks a lot you guys :)
The hosts, Lizette and Tom are the most welcoming and lovely people. There were flowers and chocolate waiting for me in the room, which was well-equipped with a kettle, microwave oven etc. The setting is very pretty and location ideal = penguins are within walking distance!
I'm very glad I decided to choose this place as a starting point of my Southern African exploration. I think it was much better to come here instead of going directly to Cape Town's hustle and bustle.
Staff were really friendly! We enjoyed talking to them, both ladies we met are amazing and tried to assist us in so many ways! If I could I would give all 10 points to nice people who work there!
The first night we stayed in the room on the second floor and it was very cozy, despite the lack of view. The only thing is generator was quite noisy at night, but it's definitely not a fault of the hotel.
The view from the second room is amazing!
The location was great - we really liked staying just outside of Simon's Town. It was a nice and more relaxing break than staying in Cape Town. The unit is very cute and we felt at home. We were able to visit the penguins just a couple of miles away several times and also an easy drive to Cape of Good Hope. The view is beautiful and the breakfast was good, the hosts were welcoming.
A cozy and comfortable hotel with a beautiful view of the bay, very tasty breakfasts, but the best thing about hotel are the receptionists, Natasha and Pearl, nice personality and very helpful. They have helped us in a difficult situation and took time for us, they are great. We have amazing memories from the hotel, and definitely we will come back.
Position A1. Great stay, great people. Comfortable and very clean.
The apartment was not 5 star, but was just as shown on this app and very good value for money.
We will be back to enjoy what Bolders Beach Hotel has to offer. Our stay there to see the ocean sunrise and the penguins starting their day, was the highlight of our Cape Town trip.
We attended a birthday celebration at Willets and we were so impressed with the hotel and the staff.
Our room was beautiful, clean and the bed was comfortable.
Being on the main road it was a little noisy early on Monday morning.
The breakfast was exactly what we asked for.
I highly recommend this little hotel!
It feels like you’re stepping back in time for a day or two. The older design and interior is so charming. Location itself is great, and it’s close to various restaurants and coffee shops.
Shami and the other staff members were so helpful and friendly - you guys are a great addition to the hotel!
First of all the staff hospitality was remarkable, especially the owner who came to check on our needs and comfort. Amazing front place to relax and read with the best view of the horizon. Breakfast was the best we had during the whole trip! Food was prepared fresh and in tune to our liking.
Like the feel of the House Real French touch you feel like you in different country specially for me that's from Cape Town.
There is no words to describe this place just Fabulous..
Thank you too William and his Staff I will definitely come very soon...
Everything was great. Lovely historic hotel with a warm ambiance. Great to have the restaurant/lounge and the location was perfect; right in the middle of town. Breakfast and coffee were great, bed super comfy. Wish we had booked for more days.
Remarkable view of Cape Town and surrounding mountains. Great breakfast and comfortable and cozy common areas. Simon's Town and surrounding areas are beautiful and amazing to visit. Very kind host and comfortable and clean bed.
The view is amazing and it has the most wonderful sunrises ☀️
It is the perfect location to explore the southern part of Cape Town! The hosts were lovely and welcoming. Would definitely love to stay again.
I loved seeing the mountain right behind the hotel; it was such a lovely natural vibe. Plus, the elevation gave a great vantage point of the beach for breakfast.
I spent 4 days at the property and it is absolutely lovely!! 10 of 10!! Zu is an amazing host and I can wait to be back there, definitely the best choice!!!!
