The staff were friendly and welcoming. They made our stay memorable with unbelievable wide variety of delicious food & drinks. Christmas lunch was topped with chef cuisine served exquisitely platted, whilst startes & desserts were buffet style. Uniquely designed fit for any palate.
Would definitely do Christmas lunch or simply any food any time again.

I can't speak highly enough about it. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality from the staff. The food served was nothing short of exceptional, offering a wide variety for both breakfast and dinner.
One of the highlights of our stay was the game drive led by Luvmore. His expertise and passion for wildlife truly enhanced our experience. We were fortunate to witness incredible sightings during our time with him.

The place was very tranquil, birds chirping. Perfect for romantic getaway from busy life. No TV in the chalet which was a bonus, gave us enough time to catch up and reconnect with hubby 😊
Mr Solomon was very welcoming, ensured that our stay was very comfortable.
The meals prepared by Mr Heistings's meals were always out of this world from breakfast to dinner. His meal presentation was always on point and always served with a smile.
The fire at night was the biggest highlight, got to sit by the fire with hubby.

Magaliesburg is a lovely place for a short getaway.
Magaliesburg is a lovely place for a short getaway. Close enough to Jhb, but you still get the feeling of being away. There are a number of interesting places to visit, and it's lovely to see the local people making such efforts to build up their businesses and the area.

If you are in the Magaliesburg area, be sure to stop at Black Horse brewery and restaurant. They have some of the best pizzas, burgers, craft beer and gin in the country. Everything is hand-crafted and the venue is absolutely gorgeous with its terraces, rolling gardens and fields. The Spar in Magalies has everything you might need if you are staying at a self-catering venue, so no need to drag your kitchen along.

Food was great. Accomodation was spacious and clean. The views are spectacular and the game drive was amazing. Simply everything was excellent. I have visited many countries and stayed in almost more than 50 countries and I can say this hotel is number 1 ion my list. I even had more joy in this hotel than Walt Disney USA. All staff were very kind and helpful. Thanks to Lucas, Elias and Lovemore for going the extra mile
Pathetic.
Hotel was quiet but no service. Grumpy and unfriendly waiters. We waited on average 1 hour for meals. Food was terrible, disgusting. Waiters didn’t even bother to ask why we not eating, but just took away the uneaten meals.
Facilities- not available.
I checked out earlier due to the terrible experience and paid to stay somewhere else.
Very bad yet hotel had only a couple of guests
Clean, helpful owner, great WiFi, cute dogs, has everything you need to make a great meal and open the door to see big empty field and has a nice farm-vibe. We stayed at Sanctuary Life for a one week workation, and got a lot of work done without feeling the city anxiety. Our little dachshund also loved the extra space and playtime with Zoey.
Everything! The whole estate was beautiful and well kept. The swimming pool was a big pleasure after my morning 20 km run along the beautiful Magaliesburg mountains.
Even the dogs greeted us so lovingly!
The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like kings for the two nights stay.
The staff treats you like family, the hotel and accomodation is absolutely beautiful with a lovely view of Friesian Horses and farmland. The food is 5 star. If you need a break from stress and city life, this tranquil setting will be the place, its just over an hour out of Johannesburg.
The host was awesome and really tried to make very comfortable. The layout of the area is beautiful and scenic, beautiful landscaping and it looks like the place used to be a very popular place to go to. Fireplace was a nice to have to make up for the cold tile.
It is situated on a farm close to the Magaliesburg. It is quiet and off the grid. The host was very welcoming and accomodating and the food was extremely tasteful.
The Hotel Rooms are big and spacious. Nice, comfortable and large beds. The room was clean. The hotel is well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
