Set right on the seafront in Portofino, Hotel Piccolo Portofino offers a private rocky beach with a bar. It is a historic villa that now features stylish designer interiors.
One of the only hotels to be located directly on Portofino’s pretty little harbor, Albergo Nazionale offers lovely views and great service as well as spacious, comfortable rooms.
Just one mile from Paraggi Beach and a 6-minute walk from Castello Brown, Portofino Luxury Front Marina by PortofinoVip features accommodations in Portofino with a shared lounge.
Portofino was beautiful and lived up to expectations.
Portofino was beautiful and lived up to expectations. However, it is tiny and the weather was not great which limits what there is to do. Two nights rather than three would have been enough.
Also it really is expensive. Not a place to go if you are on a budget.
My husband and son had brilliant food - particularly DaV Mere - but they love fish and seafood. Not great for vegetarians.

We enjoyed walking and getting around but Portofino is really small so don't spend more than one night there. I was expecting more people to be around but it was really empty after the sunset. People come in boats to know the harbour but they don't stay around after so it's very quiet (at least in April when I went). There aren't that many options for good food but the restaurant "Trattoria Tripoli" was a highlight of our stay in Portofino. Probably the best Frutti di mare spaghetti I have had in my life!

Portofino had been on the bucket list for some time so the expectations were high.... and so they were met ! A very very nice little village on the cost with all typical medditerrainian stuf. 1 day should be enough to cover it as a small place. Can recommend to travel here off season as no crowds and safe to move around. The Restaurants might seem a bit expencive but then they are good !

Portofino might have been a lovely place in the 60s - today it is a poor cartoon of a fisherman's village. Ridiculously overpriced (2 spritz + 0.5l water 33€) but still overcrowded. Seems there are a lot of people, that hope some of the yacht owners wealth will be shared with them if they get close...

Portofino is a hipe and we wanted to go there once, but unless COVID it was too much overcrowded.
It is a very small village around a harbour. Lovely with a lot of high fashion boutiques and restaurants along the harbor.
During July 2020 a lot of shops were closed but most restaurants were open - although only the once with the best rating on google and tripadviser were full, so we were glad to have a reservation.
the light at sunset is beautiful too - but if it does not have to be Portofino - there are other small beautiful fisher villages which are not so famous and expensive.
This apartment was ideally located, only a short walk from the centre of Portofino, in a nice quiet location. The owners could not have been more helpful, and were always on hand to answer questions or provide recommendations. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and great shower. There was everything you could ever need in an apartment. And the air conditioning was really good. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.
The host is amazing, with the Fiat Panda shuttle experience, the explanations of the activities in the region and the bee hives and other agriculture activities of the family. The delicious breakfast on the terrace was also a fantastic experience. We really enjoyed our stay and we can only recommend this place to visit Portofino (reachable 15min by foot or 5min by the Fiat Panda) and San Fruttuoso (1-1.30h by foot), or just to relax.
Albergo Nationale is a good stay in Portofino if you dont want to break the bank account but still be in the mids of all the fun! Its a small and pleasant hotel with normal facilities but you wont need much more if your in Portofino for a weekend break or just passing by. I would repeat my stay. windows are over the main plaza if you manage to get one of these rooms and those are really worth it! Good air con too.
The property is right at the heart of Portofino. Don’t look away if you want something that is close to anything and you everything. It was clean and came with basic amenities.
The owner was very very helpful and was always reachable on phone .
The cooker are quite good and Utensils provided . Also comes with a very decent internet connection. The view from the balcony is amazing too.
The property was very clean and upgraded. The location is a mile walk to Portofino and 5 minutes bus ride to Santa margaritas. A couple of restaurants and a small tiny mart is close by. The parking was very convenient but cost 25 euros. The host Nick was very helpful and allowed us to stay until 12 pm. The view is great .
Location was a great surprise, right in the center of the little town Portofino. Cafe, shops and restaurants right there. You DON'T need a car. (But if you have one, you have the parking garage right there (50 feet), you CAN'T park infront the appartment! You can observe the life out the windows. We will be back! 💖🍷
The welcome and staff hospitality is excellent, the hotel is well presented and very new following a recent refit.
Location to Portofino centre excellent, we also used the shuttle service to visit the sister hotel and private beach, well worth a visit.
The breakfast is superb and staff service outstanding.
The room was spacious and clean. Staff were attentive (e.g. concierge, front desk, restaurants [inside the hotel and the restaurant close to the bay / outside]). Our room had an breathtaking view to the bay and the balcony with flowers was beautiful.
The hotel is in a great location to be a center of everything, very nice breakfast with quality foods, I love fresh orange juice. The room is big and comfort. Staff is extremely nice. It is really a good place to stay.
The property was beautifully furnished, very clean, and perfectly located within Portofino. We loved that it was situated at the corner of the building allowing for fantastic views from every window.
Fantastic location, quiet, nicely laid out.
Portofino is stunning.
The coffee shop next door was great, served the best coffee in Portofino and only 2E compared to 5E on the harbour front.
The location is superb!! Amazing view. Next to town. Very nice hotel, great breakfast. The hotel rooms are nice and clean. The staff was always very helpful and friendly.
Nice, clean and comfortable apartment. The host was very easy to communicate and responsive! We liked it and would stay again if we ever return to Portofino!
Very special refuge tucked away from the bustle of Portofino. A restored monastery with medieval appointments (in a good way) staffed with very kind people
