The beach was long and plentiful.
The beach was long and plentiful. A fine shingle with a gentle slope into the sea. It was almost empty when we were there in peak season. The parking was free. Unfortunately, It was very windy when we were there so all boat trips were cancelled. Which was a shame because the coastline is best viewed from the sea. However the gentle slope of the beach sheltered us enough from the wind for a relaxing sunbathe. The restaurants were busy. So do some research and plan ahead and book in the morning for the night otherwise you might be walking around for a while queuing and waiting whilst you are hungry.

More rugged than the North, but with the most beautiful beaches and nature in the area. If I return to Sardinia I will spend all my time in the area of Orosei. The city itself is small but have nice restaurants.

Pretty village. Very pleasant to live in. Good traders.
Pretty village. Very pleasant to live in. Good traders. Interesting historical center to travel. Very close to the mountain and the sea. On the other hand, park outside on the car parks. Very complicated in the center but being very small it is easy to do on foo

Orosei has quite some things to offer.
Orosei has quite some things to offer. The marina with the nice, sandy beaches, the beach bars and nice hotels (Anticos Palathos) and restaurants. I went to the ‘Belohorizonte (above the town with fantastic views) and enjoyed nice and fresh seafood.

Orosei is best visited with a car rented from the airport as that gives opportunities to visit the mountains and nearby towns however, the locality was full of interest and enabled enjoyable walks.
Restaurants were excellent particularly the traditional foods and all facilities were clean and well maintained which made for a comfortable stay in a beautiful environment. The guided trip to Gallupu was excellent.
We shall return soon to Sardinia for longer and promise that we shall spend two weeks next time and will ensure all parts of the island are visited as there is so much of interest.
Incredible location a few minutes walk from a gorgeous uncrowded beach! Beautiful outside area, extremely spacious, olive tree, dappled shade, various comfortable seats in which to relax.
Spacious apartment. Comfortable beds, very clean, good shower inside and a de- sanding shower outside.
Good supermarket near by.
Very friendly owner, we got by with Google translate!
Really beautiful coast and countryside in the national park. Do a boat trip to the Golfe de orosei, stunning beaches!
One of the best accommodations I have ever been in :) Perfect location in city center, very cozy and nice house with a little “garden”, very local style, perfectly clean. Anna is amazing person, helpful and kind, prepares different local dishes for breakfast every morning. Delicious breakfast with local food. Very romantic style, there is no better choice in Orosei :)
This is a lovely B&B in a great location with such kind and helpful owners! The breakfast was delicious, and included a selection of traditional Sardinian options. There are plenty of lovely food options for lunch/dinner within a 2-5 minute walk. The location is great for access to the beach as well as the more rugged, breathtaking interior of the island.
Everything was great. We appretiated we could arrive later than expected and Pick UP the Keys in hotel loby just behind the corner. Also we could use the internet There. Good parking away from the road. Many nice restaurants nearby. Great beaches and outdoor activity possibilities. Washing machine, enough towels and toiletteries was a great bonus.
Great staff, very nice and responsive, very comfy beds and pillows (perhaps they heard complaints from last year), air conditioners in all rooms make your stay very nice. Internet was fairly okay, up to 25 megabits, which is insanely good by sardinian standards where you rarely get enough wifi speed to even make a call.
Local beach is very good.
What went well?
Everything! The staff in hotel was super friendly, yet proffesional, even helping us to find a restaurant for my Mum's birthday celebration. This is a boutique style hotel and it has you wish for - cleanliness, friendlieness of staff and a great location. Can only recommend.
Beautiful hotel. Staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Rooms are exceptionally comfortable with large bathrooms and everything was clean and maintained to very high standard. Breakfast room was beautiful and great variety of breakfast items given.
Great property and great value for what you pay,
Nearby the town of Orosei ideal to do day trips around the National park
The rooms are okay, a bit outdated, but price wise no complain.
Very nice pool with a good bar to do aperitivo
Itš beautiful structure of historical-style houses, quite area, close to the beach, amazing traditional Sardinian dinner, simple sweet breakfast but good enough, unique experience
Very near the beach, beautiful surroundings, great owners who gave very useful advice, Orosei has lots of bars and restaurants, house is super convenient and comfortable.
It's like a little oasis in the middle of the beautiful Italian fields. However, its close proximity to the town provides access to the restaurants and bars.
Great location, clean, modern apartment, good kitchen facilities and cutlery/crockery, great to have washing machine, air con & have use of the hotel pool
