Eland Valley Resort, hotel in Drakensberg Garden

Located 34 km from Himeville Museum, Eland Valley Resort offers accommodation with a patio, as well as an outdoor swimming pool and free bikes.

Eland Valley Resort is truly a hidden gem 💎 Cabin - The cabins are in excellent condition, equipped with everything you'll need (except an iron), and boast breathtaking views all around. There's a braai area outside your cabin for your use, as well as a table and chairs on the deck. Great value for money. Service - The hosts are extremely friendly, funny, engaging and informative. They recommended the best hikes, games, activities and provided us with excellent service. Activities - The resort has so much to offer from free canoeing(which we did for the first time and absolutely loved it 🥰) to fishing, archery, hiking trails on the property and the gaming room which includes a pool table, air hockey, table tennis, carrom board,darts..etc. The game room also has some life size antelope collections to check out...😎 Surroundings - The Maloti Drakensberg Park is about 20 minutes from the resort. There's a convenience store 5 minutes away from the resort. There's a food service delivery if needed. The night sky is surreal. Without all the light pollution, you can see so many more stars than you've ever seen before in the cities. Be sure to add stargazing to your to-do list Overall, a beautiful place with amazing views. It's very quiet and tranquil and you are sure to enjoy your stay. Definitely give it a try 💯 👌

Its an excellent location with clean big timeshares. Excellent activities and facilities for adults and kids. The road there has quite a few potholes so use a strong vehicle. An old-style hotel with a choice of restaurants. Lovely Spa facilities.

Loved the quaint cottage nestled in the mountains, your beautiful flower garden and the gorgeous birds. The cottage was comfortable and my hubby and I enjoyed our anniversary weekend away, which was much needed after a prolonged busy period. It was really nice that we were on our own, away from the hustle and bustle (instead of a busy resort). The lady (sorry, i forgot her name) looking after the place was very good and friendly. Having access into Drakensberg Gardens

Drakensberg Gardens resort has excellent facilities for the entire family. Mountain View Cottages are situated above the main entrance on the ridge. The cottages are in various states of renewal and all are different. The bathrooms are exceptional. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The kitchens are well stocked. There is DStv with limited channels. There is a jungle gym for the kids and a heated splash pool in front of the cottages

Friendly and hospitable staff. Samuel at reception was extremely helpful and assisted me to organize a tow truck and a taxi for my family after I lost one run flat tyre due to a pothole. He maintained frequent contact with me throughout my 90 minutes journey to the hotel. We all enjoyed the activities on offer for both adults and children. The mountain views are spectacular. The breakfast is great.

Great communication, We were upgraded to the big house without an extra charge, even though we booked the chalet. The house was very luxurious, clean and beautiful (especially the big patio). The location is awesome, just 10 minutes by car to the Drakensberg Gardens Hiking Trails and to a small store.

Property was right at doorsteps of Garden Resort and didnt had to travel much to start hiking. A small mart called Elands Rest is there with all supplies and needs so dont have to travel all the way back to Underberg. Picturesque and awesome view of the Rhino Peak and mountain range from property.
