A perfect place to spend your vacation regardless the time of the year. Monopoli is very well connected with other tourist destination such Alberobello (by bus, near the train station) , Polignano a Mare (train), Matera ( by train, make sure to change the train at Altamura) and other locations.

Monopoli is a very clean and safe place where you feel comfortable exploring both at day and at night. The historic areas are perfect for pedestrians. We really enjoyed walking the pathways along the Adriatic Sea with historic castles and fortresses, the docks with fishermen returning with their catch, and the beautiful waterfront views.

It is a very nice place with lots of beautiful food, streets and people.
Before you visit Monopoli, I recommend that you get to know the history of Puglia and it's towns. The history is very interesting and helps to understand why this region looks the way it does.

The accommodation was in the perfect location.
The accommodation was in the perfect location. Walking to every site. You would wake up and just out your door is the coffee that would serve you your breakfast.
I would highly recommend close to everything would definitely book again
The B&B was in a prime position near the beach. We could walk everywhere too. Riccardo was very helpful if we needed any advice on places of interest to go to, and the best beaches to visit . The property was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. If l ever get the chance to return to Monopoli l would definitely book here again, and would make sure to reserve room 5!
Riccardo also picked up our luggage in his golf buggy from our car on both arrival and when we departed (the area is a car free zone) thank you Riccardo 😊
Very clean 1st floor apartment. 10min walk from Monopoli sataion and 5 min walk into the old Town. Plenty of restaurants around the area and in the old town. 20min walk to a good beach but best to go early if you want a space on the sand. There is a QR code with all the info you require and a supermarket a block away. There were renovations underway below the apartment and we were woken early with jackhammers operating but after 2 days it was more quiet. I'm sure it's not long term. Great communication and easy to find.
The accommodation was full of everything you would need, everything was clean and modern and the host was extremely helpful and understanding. We had 4 hours delay on the airport and the host was nice enough to arrange a late check-in. The room is within walking distance of the center, the train station, couple of beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. In the area there is plenty of free parking spots and the neighborhood is quite and safe. We had wonderful time in Monopoli and we strongly recommend Kees Apulian Stay!
We made a roadtrip through Italy and this was by far our best stay! We loved everything about it, so even extended our stay! Beautiful traditional trulli, lovely decoration and furniture (one of the trulli's has a very romantic bath), spacious outside area where you can pick your own olives, grenades and figs in the garden. It's only a 10 minutes drive to Monopoli, but there are restaurants and supermarkets closeby as well. And
Gabriele is the sweetest and most helpful host we have met so far. Thank you for everything!
The apartment is located 100 m from the Monopoli train station, from there you can easily travel to Polignano a Mare, Bari, Ostuni, Brindisi and Lecce. Everything was clean and very nicely decorated, beautiful, modern style.
But the best about this rental is not the flat..
The family who owns it is the most welcoming, most flexible and most generous we have ever come across! We have travelled a lot, but B.'s hospitability is unmatchable! We cannot thank her enough for her generosity!
Its a hidden gem! We looked at many options for Monopoli but clearly this is the best. Priceless location in the heart of the old town. A spacious and luxurious appartement, with all the thrills, yet you feel at home right away. We had many good hours on the rooftop and in the jacuzzi. Service was always discreet but impeccable, charming and thoughtful whether organising transfers or going that extra mile. Our only place to stay in Monopoli from now on. Basta!
Fully equipped apartment including full-sized fridge, hot plate, microwave & laundry. Very close to major beaches at south end of Monopoli with a view from balcony. Family run with plentiful basic breakfast items, coffees made to order. Loved the extras- beach towels, wine for a charge but not huge upsell. Easy parking on street and easy to walk into historic centre and marina. So comfortable! Thank you for a great experience!
Oct 2-6/23 We liked that it was out of the hussle of Monopoli but still easily accessed. Large private grass area with loungers. Right next to a nice quiet beach. We had an upper unit with a large covered veranda that had 180* views. Gorgeous sun & moon rises as well as sunsets. Kitchen was fairly well stocked if you want to cook although espresso maker didn’t work on induction cooktop.
We would definitely return!
We had an amazing stay. The Masseria is located at a beautiful place, surrounded by olive trees and in the distance the sea and Monopoli. There are a few super cute cats and a dog, we really liked that. Lucy is super kind, the best host! The breakfast is every day different and super delicious. We forgot our Dutch home keys and in 24 hours they were send to the Netherlands by Lucy, thank you so much!
amazing location on a quiet cobbled street just a minute’s walk from the main square with its many bars and restaurants. The room is just as pictured- and is brand new and super clean with a lovely design. Monopoli itself is fabulous and we loved our stay there very much! Sara was also very kind and helpful and helped us organize a taxi to our next destination in Puglia which we really appreciated :)
Amazing host. Nicole helped me guide through the bus routes and how to reach there. Very responsive host!! She also welcomed us with a wine bottle and some snacks which is really sweet. The place is also very well connected with old town, beach, and castle. The best part was the terrace which had a beautiful sea view. We will definitely stay again if we travel to Monopoli in future.
This was an amazing apartment. Very well decorated, spacious, bright, clean and has everything you need including dishwasher, smart TV, washing machine and extensive kitchenware. The host (Antonio) was polite and always responsive. The flat is also in walking distance to center and there is an elevator in the building. We would love to stay here again when we come back to Monopoli.
We loved everything about this hotel. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable during these Covid times. From the breakfast to our room, everything was super clean and protocols were observed at every turn.
The pool gave us a relaxing way to end the day and we mostly had it to ourselves most afternoons. Highly recommend Don Ferrante!
Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Rooms and bathroom were very clean, comfortable and modern. Wifi worked fast and good. Paolo was the best host by far. Served us a delicious breakfast that he prepared himself with pastries, eggs, coffee, juice. The best B&B that I have stayed in Italy. I'd definitely recommend and stay again.
Easy checki-n, cute apartment, goegeous shared breakfast terrace. And best of all, the host Cesare: Nicest, most helpful person ever. Grazie Mille, Cesare! Oh, just one thing: watch your head, there are some very low ceilings in Monopoli! 😉
Great location in recently modernized building in the center of beautiful Monopoli. Warm, welcoming hosts with great breakfast (Filipo makes the best Cappuccino in Puglia 😉) and good travel recommendations.
It’s tucked away in the charming old town part of Monopoli, away from the noise and crowds, yet just a minute from the sea and numerous restaurants. Nice getaway.
