Spent our time between the two Hiltons and rented a car to explore Fiji.
We were lucky with the weather and found everyone very polite and helpful.
Taxis were/are a good choice and make sure you ask someone what the cost should be as I was able to reduce the cost by half by knowing what the suggested rate was vs what they asked, it only happened once as the other drivers were all very realistic.
Having a kitchen in one of our rooms was helpful and allowed us to set our own schedule to match our times and cost.

Nadi should only be considered as a transit stop or somewhere where you might stay for a day or two before going to other parts of Fiji. If you don't want to go far from Nadi then consider a stay at Denerau which is 20 minutes away and a has a marina for access to the islands and outdoor activities. Denerau is more of a resort location.

Don't stay at this place.
Don't stay at this place. Took my jewelry while going to swimming pool. Checked out next morning to go to another destination and realized my jewelry was missing. My bad but at the same wasn't expected that. No lockers in the rooms. No privacy. You simply get what you pay for. Did make a phone call but still waiting for a call back and it's more than 2 months

We were there for a week.
We were there for a week. Hired a car to go around Fiji main island. One -two days are good enough for Nadi. Suva and Lautoka are the main two big cities in Fiji. Both the cities are well connected to Nadi with AC buses. Lautoka is an hour away. It takes 3-3.5 hours to reach Suva.
In Suva one must visit Fiji Museum and President's Palace guard. Nice waterfront to spend an evening.
Rakiraki has a few nice resorts. Most of them offer great water activities.
All islands are well connected with Nadi via ferry and flight. Prior booking is highly recommended.

Staying in the city is more economical compared to staying in resorts.
I would recommend doing the following activities :
Visit:
1. Nasouri highlands heavens peak - beautiful mountains and city view from the top
2. South sea cruise/island day cruises- malamala beach club
3. Mud pools (sabeto), garden of the sleeping giant
4. Natadola beach plus intercontinental resort- got good lunch options at the resort, horse riding on the beach, massage on beach
5. Hotel Bulabard- visit for nice food and dj playing nice tunes - good to soak in beach side sunset views
6. Seventh Heaven Fiji
The Novotel, formerly 'The Mocombo' is a 40+ year grand Fijian Hotel. Originally, a high 4 star hotel in it's day, this establishment still looks grand on the hill from the road. Great established gardens, large rooms with fabulous views and high ceilings characterise this establishment. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The bed was excellent and the air-conditioning effective and quiet. Our evening meal, a Mongolian Barbeque was tasty and good value.
It wasn’t quite what we imagined when we booked but that’s hardly the hotels fault. The beds were comfy, it’s right on the beach (the beach isn’t a white sand beach like you think Fiji has!) the kids pool and play area was great. The kitchen was well appointed with full sized fridge and we used the tumble dryer lots on the towels! Loved the balcony looking over the ocean.
The best thing about this hotel is the staff though. So amazingly friendly and helpful!
It is a great hotel for spending any amount of time in Nadi since it is right on the beach plus has a bus every hour into town.
The staff are incredibly warm and helpful.
The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked fine.
What else do you need?!
The wifi was pretty good for such a somewhat remote location as well.
Would definitely return!
The location was handy to Nadi airport.
The hotel itself is super cute especially when you walk past reception and see the dining and pool area. Staff as always were lovely but thats just Fiji in general always smiling greeting you with a "Bula" 😁
Will def want to go back from longer as this was just a 20 hour transfer.
Libby's vacation rental was the perfect way to end our Fiji trip. The hosts were lovely and accomodating (despite us arriving 4 hours late) and helpful. Although they are a little outside of the Nadi town centre, the suburb was beautiful and Maggie was very helpful in arranging transport.
The location was good, right next to airport, Very easy to get in Nadi via busses and taxis and port Denerau. Not much around the hotel, we stayed one night and went to an island off Fiji. The Fijian people are really welcoming and lovely people. It was a pleasure to visit.
a great place to stay if you are flying in/out of Nadi and need an overnight spot. This was our first night in Fiji before heading elsewhere and staff were really friendly and helpful in getting us settled. there are lots of bars, restaurants and ATMs nearby
Liked nothing about the Nadi Fancy hotel. I don't know why they call it fancy, nothings fancy. Staff members are nice. Bumpy footpath, no lights at night on walkways. Big uneven concrete slabs, customers can trip over. I recommend no good
The pool exceeded expectations, lovely and clean and felt more like a hotel relaxing next to it than a hostel. Great air-conditioning and comfy beds! Very friendly staff who helped us see a lot of Fiji culture.
fFriendly staff and located close to airport and Port Denarau. Hotel organised pick up and drop off at the airport. We used this hotel as transit 3 times during our Fiji stay. Great for the price.
Didn’t have breakfast because we had to checkout early but the location was too close and the taxi who took us to the hotel was too pricy from only 2 minutes drive costed us $20 Fijian dollar.
The people here are AMAZING. From checking in to checking out. They really do define the saying "Fijians are the friendliest people in the world". Vinaka to the staff. Thank you so so much.
Wonderfully Fijian. Babakau was great. Simple breakfast, but pineapple pie was outstanding. Fresh fruit, babakau, toast, juice and instant teas and coffees.
