This could be a lovely place.
This could be a lovely place. We found almost everything in the area closed. Websites didn’t reflect museums, galleries being closed for staff training or just closed. I recommend checking by calling each place to be sure. Many shops closed down and restaurants close at 9pm. The only thing open to do was the cinema and bowling which was not signposted and hard to find plus feeling like a bowling alley from the 70’s. A number of places no longer exist, like arcades and attractions for kids. Overall it felt like stepping back to the 1980’s. If you want beaches and to eat then it’s lovely but therefore would only recommend in the summer months. People are very friendly and helpful.

I have been visiting Jersey for 53 years.
I have been visiting Jersey for 53 years. It has changed a lot in the last few years, but still one of the most beautiful and safest places to visit. I also worked in Jersey I'm my late teens, I think seeing life as residential and not a tourist, I got to see the REAL life there. Cannot praise the Island enough

Nice little city. Excellent bus service.
Nice little city. Excellent bus service. The markets were great. The ambiance was lovely. It is a shame it is not better known. It is a great place for foodies but that is not something that I think is generally known. The tourist office should be doing a lot more to promote this lovely island.

Well situated hotel for all town facilities. Easy walks to bus station, restaurants and museums. Great marina/coast views from sea-side rooms.
Accessible room does not have a walk-in shower but the low rise bath with shower over has plenty of grab rails.
Very helpful and welcoming staff, and plenty of them - few queues.
Pool is not signposted at all but using it is straightforward.
Breakfast very convenient and excellent choice. Specially ordered omelette arrived promptly.
Good size room with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. All hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and food was great. Considering we had to self-isolate in the room for 27 hours waiting for PCR test results, the hotel staff were very accommodating and all food/drink was available on room service. Nice indoor and outdoor pools with sun loungers (once we were allowed out). Spacious bar and restaurant area. Approx. 15 minute walk to town centre.
The room was very spacious, well appointed and very comfortable.
The breakfast in the 'Harbour Room' was extremely good. Polite, efficient and happy staff, in a really nice environment, meant we felt, releaxed and well looked after in a pleasant atmosphere.
We wanted for nothing given the buffet style breakfast, with too much variety to mention.
The hotel was in a great location overlooking Liberty Square and Jersey Harbour beyond.
Reception hotel staff were incredible, very helpful and nice. Accommodated any requests. location is great on the island and in St Helier as well. The main bus station is a 3 minutes walk, close to the main shops and restaurants. Any other place around the island is abt 20 minutes by car. Breakfast is also good and there is a lot of offer. Spa and pool were a lovely treat and the facilities were also brilliant!
We had a very nice stay. Very kind people. That counts for the those that clean the rooms, those that service the braekfast and especially the owners. They provided also a place too store our bikes. Really kind people. The room and bathroom is simple but sufficient. The hotel has a elevator. They provide a extensive continental breakfast. There is also a very nice public park in the vicinity.
The hotel / apart is basic but spotless - including linen & towels. The staff were lovely, ever so helpful. We didn’t use the bar but did take advantage of the balcony which we had with our room. Great value for money, a kitchenette with everything you would need but we didn’t use it apart from the kettle & toaster. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the town centre and the same to the sea front.
Thoight this hotel was excellent value for money. Breakfast excellent. Bedroom small but adequate. Sockets and mirrors in the right places. Functional. Would visit again
Rooftop terrace very nice. T and coffee facilities in room very good.
Overall a great location within Jersey.
The room was brilliant with plenty of tea/coffee and facilities.
Never saw the hosts however well informed about how to access property and collect room key.
Amazing place and already been looking to return
The breakfast was excellent as was the dinner in the hotel restaurant. Location is near at the beach and a 20 minute walk into the town centre. The staff are very polite and very helpful if you need anything.
Hotel and Room was clean and spacious with plenty of tea and coffee location not too far from the town centre about a 10 minute walk, good choice of food for breakfast. Staff pleasant and helpful.
Hotel de France is luxury and service centred with excellent facilities and friendly staff. The historical building and modern spa wing sit well together and everything was immaculate.
We had a great time in Jersey and stayed at the hotel de normandie...the hotel was excellent, clean, comfortable beds delicious food and friendly staff. Would recommend
Comfortable spacious rooms, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, perfect location.
Clean hotel with nice coffee machine in the room and chocolates on arrival.
Super little boutique hotel. Staff were superb and friendly throughout. Great location for the town centre. Bohemia restaurant menus well worth experiencing.
The hotel is across from a beach so we could hear waves lapping in our room. However, since there is a bar and restaurant with outdoor seating, it was noisy.
