Serene place, much calmer than the nearby seaside (Eforie Nord). It is best for people who want to relax, rest and enjoy the lake surroundings, far enough from the hustle and noise of the seaside, but close enough if you want to go to the beach or Constanta.

Actually I have been for the first time in this city, and we have chosen because we didn't find any accommodation, but if you have a car, is very easily to connect with the cities from the seaside.

You'll love this place if you're looking for a peaceful, tranquil place - mostly for mud treatment (Techirghiol lake is famous for its special mud which cures a few severe illnesses). The is also a special hotel/ centrum dedicated for adequate treatment for various injuries and illnesses. If you don't like to swim in the lake, the is a nice outdoor clean pool with a small terrace nearby and a rather bigger one few steps far away. Near the pool there is a tennis place which is quite ok if you like to play. There are a few small places o drink something or to eat - for eating, if you like something sophisticated, you can go in the neighbourhood (Eforie Nord, Agigea for example). For young couples there are not so many hot activities, but beside the pool and the lake, there is also possible to reach Eforie Nord in practically no time and to find some more excitement there, if you like (there are only max. 2-4 km till there)

A few pluses, especially compared with previous experiences at different places in Techirghiol: the AC was quiet and covered the room well; there is a mini-sofa in the room for sitting, an excellent idea; more than sufficient shelving and desk space; the included breakfast was very good; the bed was comfortable, and the neighbors quite considerate. The host was wonderful, and the food plentiful!
