Francesco and Gianna are the king and queen of Toscany! They are the most nice and friendly hosts ever. Our stay in Podere La Ciabatta wouldn't be as pleasant without them. Besides their default hospitality, they invited us to stay for lunch when the car broke, and we had to postpone our departure for the late afternoon. We had a wonderful lunch on the terrace with beautiful surrounding hills, and Francesco played the guitar and sang old Italian songs. Podere La Ciabatta is ideally located in the middle of all the main sights in Tuscany. It is an hour's drive to Florence, half an hour to San Gimignano, forty minutes to Siena, an hour and a half to Pisa, and two hours to Saturnia Cascate Del Mulino hot springs (you don't want to miss that tremendous natural experience if you are in the area). The property is a typical Tuscany villa with cozy apartments decorated and equipped with a scent of old times. Nevertheless, the beds are spacious and comfortable, and everything else is clean and neat. The breakfast is fantastic, including local salt food, different pies and cakes, and eggs prepared by Franceso in the way you want them, with a leaf of the inevitable basilica. There were regular vegan options like bread with tomatoes, olive oil, and garlic, but by asking for it upfront, I also got soy milk that I could combine with cereals every morning. A combination of all this said here, together with the beautiful sights we've visited, made our travel to Tuscany the best of all travels until now. We will definitely come back to visit Franceso and Gianna in this beautiful place.

The accomodation is very nice with a lovely outside area and a great view. Casole D'Elsa was a perfect location to start our trips to the various sights and cities in Tuskany e.g. Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Lucca and Firenze.....The host, Andrea, was very kind and provided us with lots of useful and helpful information e.g. restaurants, sight seeing, shopping etc. We really enjoyed our stay for 8 nights.

Our flat overlooked the beautiful hills of Tuscany. We stayed slightly outside the sunny season so the pool was closed, but when it's open it's a stunning location and view to relax. The bed sheets and towels were honestly some of the best I've come across in rental accommodations 😆 Super soft and plush. The staff was very welcoming and friendly! Would definitely recommend 😊

It was wonderful to use the swimming pool and sit in the lush gardens. The location is perfect, tucked away from the hustle and bustle but very close to the village. There is a path where you can walk to the village and its a 5 min drive away. The prperty is well maintained and so peaceful!
