The surroundings were really beautiful and the location was perfect. Not too far out of town so still close to the shops, but not to close to town so it's still nice and peaceful.
Susan, Den and Boz (the hosts dog) were great hosts. Especially Boz, he's extremely friendly and loves to play. Susan and Den are down to earth and make you feel really welcome.
The room was clean, and the bed was super comfortable, and having breakfast provided was a huge bonus.
Would recommend paying them a visit if you're ever in Hokitika.

Nice pleasant hotel, if not inspiring or beautiful. The rooms are a bit dated and basic. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. Location is nice -- right on the beach, and convenient to everything in Hokitika.

Lovely spacious unit. Comfortable bed. It was all we needed for an overnight stay.
Ross is a lovely small town. Its quiet and relaxed and the Top Ten Holiday park is even more quiet and relaxed. We enjoyed a fire on the beach and relaxing walks in the surrounding area. The museum was very interesting and its close to a lot of other really neat places on the west coast.

We enjoyed the evenings watching the sunsets.
There is plenty in the area to do and see
To top it all off, we had a great New Years eve with others from the camp.
We gathered on the beach, lit fires with the driftwood on the beach & toasted marshmellows and saw the NY in with fireworks.
