For the price it was not good value.
For the price it was not good value. It was not very clean and smelt like dog. It was showing its age and needing repairs. No cancellation policy, no refunds is a total rip off. If you cancel they keep your whole booking cost and then book it again. Double dipping. Not right. If you cannot get there, Request a refund and if they say no, ask for a change of date, don’t cancel. Just do a no show. Leave it sit empty. When we visit Toowoomba we usually stay in or near the CBD but we specifically chose Highfields as that is where our friends live. It is basically a farming/suburban area with some bush views. Very easy to access places to eat and shop (eg Chocolate Cottage) and it's not that far from Toowoomba by car where there are endless options.

The village green was a delightful experience.
The village green was a delightful experience. Lots of interesting shops to look at including a coffee shop, quilt shop, several gift shops and a clothes and shoe shop. A very pretty regional area within easy travelling distance to Toowoomba

The on-site restaurant was very good, the staff were very friendly, a good pub not far away and a KFC next door for a quick dinner when you were too tired to bother with a sit-down meal.
