Gerakini is a picturesque mix of old houses, charming and taken care of and new villas, apartments. We liked to have walks in the evening, we had great food, either at Cook Art Estelle or at other nice little places in the town. Gerakini is half an hour away from Sithonia and Kassandra and this is ok if you want to visit places close to Gerakini.

Gerakini is a village not much urbanized. One supermarket, one giro store, a couple restorants, Marko Polo was the best. The beach is nice, but the water is full of jellyfish and sea grass, not clear at all. I dont recomend it for young parents with kids, or people who like a lot of things to do. No park or any facilities for kids. Pretty much boring, nothing to do. And when you cant swim also.....because of jellyfish....awful.

It is a small village and we were there at the end of the season, but it is a good place for relaxation, vacation with small kids or a dog. There are not many places to walk around in the village, but only a few kilometers away there are bigger villages with more interesting things to see.

Gerakini is a small village and in September is very quiet. There is no a lot of people there, despite that the water is hot. The beach is sandy, there is stones on the bottom in the water, but if you go trough, the bottom is sandy. Taverns and beach bars are still working in Sept.

Gerakini is a small, clean, quiet and very charming village.
You can find here many taverns. The food was very good at all the restaurants we tried, and the staff was extremely friendly. I would particularly recommend Mouragio Tavern - the food is great.
Gerakini is especially recommended for families with children.

Nice and calm beach town with that has all you need for your calm vacantion on the shore. Location of the town is perfect if you decide to visit the nearby resorts and famous beaches. Not that many tavernas around though as the place might get crowded at dinner time and you might end up waiting for a table from time to time. The beach is nothing special, recommend you visit the surrounding resorts - nice beaches available within 20-30 min drive.
The house was great with renovated and very clean kitchen and bathroom. Nice spacious garden for kids to run around, we could spend long ours even without going to the beach. Friendly reception. The beach is very close, nice and sandy. Very clean sea, but sometimes gets wavy. We could use the facilities of Elia Beach Bar with just one/two drinks, sometimes even without ordering anything, but I believe this might not be true for crowder season. A lot of restaurants in neighboring towns 5 min by car.
Captain Nikos is a nice host, he speaks English and answers to the questions. The accommodation is very near to the beach, just a minutes away, and the view is superb. On the beach there are many free beach chairs for lying, but not enough umbrellas, so it's probably best to have your own. Gerakini is a quiet place with not many shops or places to go, but it is perfect for families.
It's a perfect place to relax. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and with wonderful personnel. The beach is just a 2-minute walk: it is clean and well-kept, water is crystal clear. The food was great with a variety of dishes and different options every day - you never get bored with it. The Family room has an amazing view of the sea - perfect for watching sunsets.
The owners of this gorgeous house are extremely friendly and uber helpful, if needed. The house was impeccable with everything a guest would need for a nice, comfortable stay.
The attentiveness they showed & checking in to see if we might need anything, anything at all, was a very nice touch.
I highly recommend booking Niko's Stone House for a vacation in Greece.
Location of the hotel ( not more than 50m to wonderful beach). So clean and the rooms are equipped with everything needed. Owners are very intelligent and helpful with information about history of Gerakini and Psakoudia region, about good restaurants and also private needs. All this made our trip to Chakidiki a short but joyful trip and vacation time.
Great location for both families and group of friends with everything you could need inside the camping: nice beach and restaurant, very beautiful pool (for kids also), very nice stuff, a market, free parking space. We had a great stay here and it whet our appetite for bungalows in Greece!
This place is better than any 5 star hotel. Perfect luxury apartments with comfortable and new furniture, beautiful sea view complemented by peace and quiet.
the breakfast is as perfect as the staff itself.
a warm recommendation to everyone for the perfect vacation.
The property looked even better than the pictures, we liked it very much. The hosts were very nice and helpful. It's located closed to the beach. The whole residential area was quiet, near by there are towns where you can go for a walk or try a different beach.
- Great sea view.
- Great place - nice small garden with olive trees, small charming beach right in front of the hotel (sun-bed and umbrella available free of charge), relaxing atmosphere.
- The staff is all very friendly and helpful.
The location is excellent, on the beach and quiet. The owners are very polite and friendly. The hotel is clean and maintained daily. The beach chairs are free of charge. We will gladly come back again.
Nice hotel, not far from a nice beach, good breakfast, friendly employees and good swimming pool. Very nice restaurant (4 seasons) about 10 mins walk. The facilities in the room were good enough.
What I loved about this hotel. The rooms are beautiful. The staff are so friendly and efficient. The food was outstanding the beach gorgeous. Absolutely everything was to die for !!!
I am very satisfied with location and especially with hotel.Very clean and calm for family vacation.Owner and personal are very kind.
I will repeat that story for sure again😀😀😀
We had an good stay at this hotel. The sea-view room was spacious and impressive. The staff was very friendly, and the complex's garden added a beautiful touch to the atmosphere.
Located in the quiet town of Gerakini, it was perfect location for a low-key escape. I liked having our own kitchenette and well air-conditioned room to relax in.
