The staff was great as well as the breakfast. We stayed in 2 different rooms. Our first room was right above construction site across the street which was noisy from 8am until about 5:00 pm. The location of 1926 was great. It is a very quiet and convenient location. We extended our stay several times. Our 2nd room was a family room when our adult daughter joined us. The family room was great with 2 king-sized beds. The beds were very comfortable. On the room’s outside balcony we could look both left and right and see the sea. The family room was very quiet. The hotel’s outdoor pool opened during our stay which was very pleasant. The exercise room was a big plus. During warm calm weather the nearby promenade was very enjoyable. When you book make sure you include breakfast in your reservation if you want breakfast.

The facilities provided, good quality bathroom toiletries, they provided bathroom robe and slippers as well inspite of being a economy room....very clean. The staff too was was very polite and she allowed us a early check in as well....On the whole,it is a good quality hotel...very nice lobby as well. Good location, all the restaurants are close by, also the Arkadia, the grocery store is close by, so is the mercury mall, a 5 mins walk

Fantastic location around the peninsula, next to the ferry to Gozo and boats to Campino. Large pools and swimming on both sides of the hotel. Very comprehensive buffet menu. For dinner, wine and beer on tap. For specialized high quality meals go to nice restaurant across the street. One side of the hotel had views of the ferry and the islands with some noise from the traffic and construction. The other sides has less impressive but still sea views but is quieter. Large balcony.
