Richland is great, there is "old richland" on the river and "new richland" at queensgate. Everything you may need can be found in Richland and its a pretty city. We love coming here.

This trip was for an event.

This trip was for an event. Lucky for us that there was an incredible arts in the park right next to us (literally less than a 1 minute walk) too. We also enjoy the dining and wineries in the area as well.

Richland was a convenient spot for us to meet, about halfway between where all parties live. Rooms were spacious providing a comfortable place to just hang out. We really didn't go far from our hotel, so I'm unable to provide feedback about the area and city.

I really didn't see much of Richland.

I really didn't see much of Richland. I was there for two days of stock car racing at the new Red Mountain Event Center. There was a fantastic Mexican Restaurant called Fiesta that had good food and awesome wait staff. Can't wait to go back!

The riverside hiking/biking paths were very nice.

The riverside hiking/biking paths were very nice. There are many parks and you can find benches that swing along the banks of the river. Montessoro's restaurant had great manicotti and lasagna. We enjoyed the Sun Willows golf course in Pasco but were disappointed in the Columbia Point golf course in Richland. Winco Foods has very competitive grocery prices.

Not sure how much Yakima depends on tourism - I think business is a more likely reason to go out, and this hotel hit that sweet spot for business travel. Nice enough to be comfortable without being needlessly fancy, comfortable rooms, small pool with good late hours, convenient from the freeway and to the places I wanted to go. Got in later, staff was friendly and helpful, slept well and was out early the next day with no problem. Barely was there long enough to enjoy that river view, which was very nice.

Well they make you give 100 dollarfree deposit and at the end they always make up some excuses to why you won't get your hundred dollars back I have staied there two times and each time ever got my hundred back. Talk with others I the area and they said they do the to everyone that stays there. Not like they aren't getting enough they have to go and do that a bunch of low life's running a hotel. well this hotel for sure I will never go back to ever again!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful respite from the heat dome in the Tri-Cities area. Our air conditioning failed in our home, so this hotel was truly a home-like experience without the Air B&B hassles and fees. We enjoyed riding our bikes on the Columbia river trail early in the morning before the temperatures rose into triple digits and hunkered down in our room for the rest of the day. Our room was spacious and very comfortable

I didn’t eat the breakfast, I cannot digest diary and most of the options I saw had dairy in them. But it seemed very popular with the guests. The room was relatively quiet. I loved that there was a nightlight it made it so much easier to get around at night when you woke up. It’s a very considerate thing to do and almost no hotels do it. Check in and check out was quick.

Breakfast at Homewood Suites is always a hit for us. They keep their hot foods fresh. The hotel has great sound insulation and is pretty quiet. For the price you pay, they have some luxurious wood trim surrounding the kitchen and library areas. Also, the front desk staff is very polite and accommodating.

Unlike most hotels, post-covid, the Holiday Inn provides daily room service! A staff member was always available at the front desk. The refillable water bottle stations around the hotel were a great bonus, as well. Bed was comfortable and room had both a mini fridge and microwave.
