Keep away this is a really shady place. The beds smell like sweat and butt. There was blood on the carpet in the room. Some really shady people staying a few rooms down from me. This looks like a couple's or junkies motel. Do not bring your family here.

I will never go back. The room was dirty and it smelled. Many things were broken. The smoke detector went off at 3:00 am and never stopped. We got no sleep. There was no staff working after 11:00 pm. A phone number was at front desk but our room phone was broken so we had to deal with the alarm for HOURS. I will never go back and I will tell everyone about this awful experience.

Shelburne has many options for visitors including the Shelburne Museum, Burlington culture and Lake Champlain. And getting around is easy with good bike paths.
Our dining options included Sherpa kitchen Himalayan , Chef Leu Chinese , and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream factory.

I was only here to sleep.
I was only here to sleep. Shelburne has some lovely aspects. But I was only here to sleep, as I needed to be in Burlington. So, this review is, largely, irrelevant for someone here to enjoy Shelburne.

Shelburne Museum was a great experience!
Shelburne Museum was a great experience! The collections are amazing. We enjoyed the gardens and the tours of the Ticonderoga and the Prentiss and stencil houses.
Pauline's Restaurant had delicious food and a friendly staff.
Overall the hotel looks pretty run down but our room was in decent shape, and the beds were comfy (plus queen sized as opposed to full at most hotels). The pool are was really nice and looked liked it had just been redone. As with many hotels they were short staffed which meant they didn’t provide stay-over service which was not a big deal except it didn’t seem reflected in the price- still seemed pricey considering that. Breakfast provided included hot stuff but was sparse for selection and quantity.
Location was close by and the price was reasonable plus the breakfast was included and it was quite good!
Also and the best part, April at reception was awesome and very accommodating! The first room we got was not to our liking and she changed our room to one with a balcony and much airy than the last room!
April, you rock !!!
The very friendly staff, all those I encountered but I have to single out the Jamaican staff who made me feel extra welcome and comfortable. Being our first time to the area, they gave us invaluable help and suggestions about adjusting. Our trip was to drop off my daughter at College for her first year.
The staff at the front desk was very friendly, and the location was good as we wanted to be close to the Shelburne Museum for a concert. Yet, our room smelled like an ashtray and even with leaving the sliding door open all evening, it did not air out. I won't stay here again for that reason.
Staff but basically price gouging. The only think ok was the staff. But the hotel is awful. Smelly, broken furniture, so dated and so expensive. Unfortunately, the other hotels were also price gouging and this was the better option regarding cost.
Disappointed the pool wasnt available. The room was a good size. The bathroom needs more safety bars in the tub area.
There was a balcony but no screen to allow the door to be kept open. Breakfast was good
We came in very late (2 am) & the person who checked us in brought a cot bed and blankets up and even made the bed up for us. Friendly & helpful staff, very clean rooms and pool area. We enjoyed our stay.
