We were pulling an r.v. and wanted a room at front of building close to room and well lit. Hotel was very empty. He put us at the very back close to alley and dark. The man was rude and treated us like we were unwelcome.

My point of contention with Knights Inn is that they refused to credit my account when I informed them I would not be staying for a third night saying that I had to inform them 24 hours in advance.. He submitted an updated booking for $248.60, but until I see that my card is credited in the amount of #124.30, my comments stand. I love the easy going attitudes of all the people there. Humphrey Petes was Delicious. Town is perfect. Wish there were more places to stay on the lake though. Runaway Train NEVER Disappoints. There cooked to order food is Delicious and there Hand Homemade Shakes....forgrt about it...to Die For Good !!!

We usually have a room on one of the upper floors but this time we were on the ground floor. The room above us was occupied and about 10 pm the heavy footsteps that sounded like pounding started. Then again the next morning it started again and lasted until from 4 to 5am. Needless to say, we did not have a restful night. We were so disappointed. If we ever have to stay on a lower floor again, we will go somewhere else.

I have an issue with walking and have to use a cane or walking chair so my request was taken care of before checking in. We had our dog with us an they have a dog park out back for them. It was a fast trip, but accommodation were perfect.
