Chickasha is a typical small town in Oklahoma. It's great at Christmastime with the Festival of Light. The leg lamp from "A Christmas Story" is now a year-round attraction in downtown Chickasha. The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma is a great liberal arts college on a beautiful campus.

Needs several upgrades, AC and heating system very noisy in rooms. Small older toilets. No security at building exterior doors. Anyone can enter from side doors. Should have guest key card to enter, not including main hotel entrance.
Hopefully the owner will install new AC/ Heating system. Some upgrades have happened but needs several more.

And this was a new very clean motel in chickasha
Only problem this motel is not pet friendly and I had just purchased my husband a new 5 week old puppy so we had to leave him and just go and visit that was our only issue

I very much enjoy visiting Chickasha.
I very much enjoy visiting Chickasha. The streets are easy to navigate. There is plenty to do, great food available, and fun shops to visit. The park is super nice and fun for both my grandchildren and myself, nice walking area with pretty grounds. My husband and I tried a smoothie shop that was near the motel, super good smoothies there! I enjoy thrift shops, and they have 3 great ones.

chickasha is a nice farming community as such and has The University which I graduated from with my B.S. worked at Grady Memoria Hospital many years. But I like the City better.
This is the first time that I've spent a weekend in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Check-in was quick and easy. The location was right off Highway 81 and was close to anywhere I had to go in Chickasha over the weekend. The room was large. The bed was comfortable. The pillows and towels were fluffy. The rates were affordable.
Beautiful hotel, large rooms, large bathrooms, super friendly staff. We only stayed one night because our stay was unexpectedly extended but I wish I had found this hotel first and stayed there for our entire trip. I will definitely stay there next time
Everything is wonderful we loved it ❤️ would recommend it for everyone who has the ability of having to stay in Chickasha thank you so much for all your hard work and helpful information about the area too.
Very clean room. Spotless bathroom! Good towels. Better than the ones we got at pricier tourist city hotels. Reasonable price. Fixtures & appliances all work. Prompt service when asking for an iron or ice.
