The Chesterfield Hampton Inn was the best place we stay in...

The Chesterfield Hampton Inn was the best place we stay in on our recent trips for medical issues in the great city of St. Louis. We were close to our appointment destinations and other needed facilities. It was economical, and exceptionally comfortable. The staff were polite and extremely friendly.

We have family in the area. We love the outlet mall.

We have family in the area. We love the outlet mall. We watch some youth hockey. And we eat some yummy food. We came to STL to ride the Polar Express with our grandson and stayed in Chesterfield so we could have a chance to visit with family and do some shopping while we were in town. Also, hotels were more reasonable. We enjoy the Chesterfield area and the many things it has to offer.

Night mare upon arrival. Booked room on booking.com.

Night mare upon arrival. Booked room on booking.com. They could not find the reservation even though we booked it that morning at 9:42. The young lady helping us was awesome and did the best she could. The food at the bar/restaurant was surprisingly good and the bar tender Julie was exceptional. When in the room wish we stayed somewhere else. The Drurry Inn is 10 times cleaner, updated and much nicer as well as larger for a cheaper price. Our room smelled like BO. We realize it was not BO but some chemical. Definitely not what we expected from a Marriot, we will never book one again. When we left the restaurant/bar, my wife thought she left something down there. We called down to the front desk to ask if they could connect us to Julie at the bar and whoever answered the phone was extremely rude and told us we had to walk back down to the bar. Over all experience was pretty bad especially since we were spending New Years there.

    The stay was great.

The stay was great. We traveled with one child and her friend, so we had a room with a separate bedroom. That was perfect. The breakfast was good. Coffee and soda could be accessed all day. The pool and workout room were better than most hotels. Evening refreshments were great, for the most part. The reason I am giving a 4/5 rating at this moment is that I have been charged twice for my stay and have gotten nowhere with customer service

The beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was very efficient as checkin was very quick. The breakfast was decent. There were plenty of bread, bagel options and they had a couple of microwave breakfast options (cheese omlete or sausage biscuit), along with your normal hotel options. We were there during a tornado warning /storm and they called our room to make sure we knew where the storm shelter was.

#1 - there was no staff, just a person at the front desk who could not make or change reservations, who had zero knowledge with regard to transportation options, etc. and who was absent during the (following) power outage #2 - a lightning storm took out the electricity. the hotel had no power, no emergency staircase lighting, nor any staff onsite to help guests with questions or concerns

We were very disappointed that the pool and hot tub area was closed for renovations. We would’ve booked elsewhere had we known that ahead of time. The hotel should have let us know at the time of booking that it was closed. Also, our room was dirty compared to other hotels we have stayed at. The bathroom was gross and the sheets had hairs on them from previous guests.

Disappointed to show to No hot tub, and No pool like it says there is on booking. Under renovations and literally had to step over construction to get to our room. Air broken in main hotel, grounds were a mess, main bathrooms out, ice machine down on our floor. Would never stay here again. ;/

Location is perfect. Close to places to eat, shop, etc. 25 mins from downtown St. Louis. Good breakfast, better than I expected. Good variety however there wasn’t any pancakes at the “pancake station”. Hotel is updated, clean, and staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff very nice and helpful especially since they were without access to their computers and hotel tv due to a road crew cutting a cable and knocking out their technology capabilities. Still they did a work around and remained cool snd calm.
