Loved the rec center and staff. Rooms were nice.

Loved the rec center and staff. Rooms were nice. Couch bed is very comfy, slight indentation in the queen mattress but not to bad. Full/mini kitchen stocked with pots and pans. Thumbs up. It is a drive to the city but I think that's part of the beautiful of this resort. The goal is to be away, enjoy the mountians and escape.

Blanchard is really just an area not a town.

Blanchard is really just an area not a town. There is a convenience store (EZ Mart) with a gas station and if you need a fishing license you can get one there, we did. Stoneridge Resort is a great base for your vacation because it has a lot to do right there. Spirit Lake is 8 miles south, Newport is 13 miles north both with grocery stores and places to eat. Blanchard is quiet and woodsy. Several lakes are within a 1/4 hour to an hour drive. There is a lake within walking distance of Stoneridge resort where you can fish or maybe kayak. No swimming or motorized boats allowed. Most of it is private property but there is a small public park on Blanchard Elk road at the entrance to Stoneridge Resort. Also, from Blanchard Elk Road (near Hwy 41/the convenience store) take Rusho Ln to Poirier Rd and follow it to the one lane bridge. You can fish or kayak there. Nearby Spirit Lake is good for swimming, fishing, kayaking, or motorized boating. Follow Maine St westbound out of the town of Spirit Lake and you will shortly come to the popular Fireside Park where you can swim or boat.

The amenities: putt-putt golf and the recteation center. Volleyball, basketball, raquetball, tennis, pool, bikes, billards all avaliable. Our studio had plenty of space for the three of us. Enjoyed having a small kitchen & balcony. Beautiful area with mountains & golf course. Nice location for Silverwood.

It's a very nice accommodation and it looks fancier than a normal hotel. A lot of amenities as well. The staff were friendly. We estimated our time of arrival online when booking the room between 12 midnight and 1:00 am, we arrives at 12:35 and someone was there with our paperwork and keys ready for us.

Beautiful scenery, great amenities and friendly people! Condo was nice, bed was comfortable, and it had everything we needed for our stay. Walking trails and the rec center were definitely a bonus. Golf course restaurant had great breakfast! (Only meal we tried).

we have stayed at Stoneridge resort multiple times and this is by far the nicest room at the resort. The room has been remodelled and in great shape. It has a large balcony overlooking the golf course.

Putt-putt golf and racket ball were really fun! After the storm knocked the power out, we decided that was a good time to eat the ice cream we had bought 😋
