Delightful town once you get away from the interstate.

Asked local about dining and he recommended the Seafood Palace. The two women checking in guests didn’t seem to know of places to dine…sent us back to interstate area
It helps to have list of dining options especially after one has been traveling all day

For the price not worth it considering the bathroom toilet kept clogging up. The coffee pot didn't work. There were bugs in the room, took care of that myself. Only good thing about this place is that it was close to Talladega.
Will I stay there again -- No
Is there stuff around there as far as restaurants and shopping - Yes
The biggest thing is they started at 8:AM calling the room asking when we were going to be checking out and their check out time is at 10:30AM we were out of there by 9:30AM --

Anniston is a very historic place.
Anniston is a very historic place. However, it is extremely depressed, Many stores are shuttered. Many restaurants are either not in business or limited to drive thru service only. There are homeless persons sleeping in doorways and trash up and down the streets. The one bright spot was the Museum of Natural History which is exceptional and not to be missed. My hotel was fabulous but Anniston needs help.

Anniston is a nice little town, there are several places to eat, and your close to the interstate. My wife and I where there for her to see her doctor, and it was our first time to the area. would not stay again where we stayed, but as far as the city it was nice
Clean place, friendly staff, breakfast nice, have eggs and waffles.. Coffee is unlimited.. They have free apples all night… free cookie from morning. Location for Oxford is great, near all resturants and convenient stores..
They have a garden, small outside, with comfy seating to smokes, feels like heaven in the garden
The most beautiful Victorian-style hotel for a perfect getaway!! We were amazed by the hospitality of the staff (special thanks to Anna and Kris for being so friendly and warm-hearted and making our stay so memorable!!). Amazing breakfast and great bar for a relaxed late-night drink!
Staying multiple days at Nichol's Nest allowed us to enjoy quiet evenings on the patio and unwind.
We wanted for nothing as the host had plenty of bath towels, dishes, and blankets.
The house was centrally located in Anniston and we plan to stay here again the next time we visit.
Nothing! I paid for one night online through Booking .com I called to see if we could add another night? My boyfriend learned he got more time off. I paid for the second night when I arrived at the hotel.
Misrepresenting the property. Specifically on booking.com list as pet friendly yet they refused to honor it. Still took our money and refused to refund.
