Wonderful city, excellent continental cuisine, many "chardas" to choose from. European avenue a "must walk" for the unique city experience, I also recommend the visit to the Tvrđa. Osijek is extremely walkable, very charming.

Peaceful smaller size city with lots of bike lanes, walking promenades, riverside and beach activities, great restaurants and very welcoming people. Perfect place for a calm vacation but with all the amenities and services that one city can offer.

I like very much the architecture of the older parts of the city.I love walking near the river in the mornings or during the night. There is beautiful sand beach on the other side of river, where you can have nice swim in the river or in the pools. You can have perfect Osječko beer in a lot of bars in city center. There are very good restaurants in the city and in a closer range outside the city. You must see cathedral which is by me the nicest church in Croatia. But the best of Osijek is the warm and generous people of Osijek who will make you remember your stay for the rest of your life.

Small, cosy, neat town.
Small, cosy, neat town. There is nothing impressive to see, but it is a very nice town to be in, and many options for visitors in the surroundings around. The people are friendly, the place is secure, the food is excellent as everywhere in Voivodina after all, and one can have long walks, visit the old city, and nearby destinations as Coparcki Rit, or Pamuk.

Osijek is a little hidden gem.
Osijek is a little hidden gem. This was my first visit but I'd be happy to return. Fantastic seccession architecture in the town centre, a lovely old town in the "Fortress/Citadel" area (with cafes, bars etc) and on the other side of the bridge I found some great restaurants (with special mention to "Csingi Lingi Csarda") and vineyards. A very enjoyable few days in Osijek.

Osijek is a hidden gem in Croatia.
Osijek is a hidden gem in Croatia. The town may seem empty at first but the locals seem to follow their own schedule and know exactly where to be at the right time.
There are two centres: the main centre, and the "tvrda" (fortress town). Both are filled with excellent pubs and night clubs.
If per chance you are into the techno / industrial scene, we happened to book our place next to "Voodoo". Not my scene but perfect for alternative / metal types.
Note: the best restaurants in Osijek are not in Osijek but in Baranje, just north of the river.
The apartment is great. Large, a lot space, nice kithen, bottles of water and Cola are for free in a fridge. Located in a 5 min walk to the right center. Guaranteed parking place from Emilio is under the balcony. Beds and matrasses were 5*, we had a good sleep)
Emilio and his friend helped us with a correct rout from Croatia to Montenegro. Thanks for all, Emilio, you are the great host...
Apartment was clean and big enough for 2+2 family with few little things that was little but nice act of kind (like Rakija, cola and small milk in the fridge 😊)
Position of apartment is great. Not too far for center, near grocery store and tram.
City is just beautiful, so many things to explore (center, cathedral, Tvrđa, Crveni fićo, bridge, Drava, promenade, Zoo, Kopački rit...)
- Facilities are clean and all the necessary amenities are present
- Location is superb; central and historic; very accessible!
- Staff are absolutely perfect! If you needed anything, they would go an extra mile to help you out and make sure you got what you need!
- The owners are very accessible and approchable to anything; definitely a plus
- Breakfast was wonderfully done!
Close to main railway station which was a huge plus for coming by train and planning trips outside of Osijek. Closeness of Konzum and McDonald's was also a nice perk :)
Apartment was clean and equiped with all useful kitchen appliances as advertised (fridge, stove, microwave, kettle...).
All in all, a good place for long or short stays.
The host is very very hospital, helpful and flexible. The location is great and parking is inside of the building, so the car is completely secure. There was a storm in Osijek when we were there and if the car was outside, it could have been damaged.
Very good contact with apartament owner. She speaks English fluently. Accepted łatę arrival, even send SMS with information.
We stayed one night on return trip from East Croatia to Poland. Parking on the street close to entrance with no fee.
The apartment was clean and nicely furnished (dishwasher; washing machine, tv in both bedroom and living room), complimentary coffee and tea which really comes handy after a long trip. Perfect location for sightseeing and visit to Osijek Zoo.
Rooms are really clean, beautiful. A girl on a front desk was really nice and helpful. It is on great location, has great wifi and good parking spot (2 min from hotel). Food and prices in Osijek are amazing. Osijek is a beautiful city.
We liked absolutely everything .Host was amazing friendly ,very pleasant to deal with . Will be back to Arena Nikic and can recommend this property to anyone who is visiting Osijek - Croatia 🇭🇷
We are giving to this property *****
Liked the private parking and location of the hotel, which is very near the center where you have access to restaurants and bars. Clean and helpful staff. Good wifi and well lit walkways in the hotel.
We've been in Centrum Osijek for the second time while passing through Balkans. Comfortable and clean room, super tasty breakfast, parking for free and very close to the hotel. Definitely recommend it!
