This hotel offers a cafe and accommodations with views of the Azmak River and Gokova Gulf from their balcony. It is located less than a 10-minute walk away from Akyaka Beach.
Beautiful views from the balcony. Great swimming pool.
If you need a full rest and recharge, this is the place.
If you need a full rest and recharge, this is the place. If in search of thrills and wild parties, you'll be disappointed. When the night comes, apart from Akyaka, there are no lights for as far as the eyes can see. One does not need a car to move around as it is tiny and cozy place. If you wish to go to the beaches outside Akyaka, there are always cabs, and they are not a rip off.

Hotel Baga is located just out of Akyaka town.
Hotel Baga is located just out of Akyaka town.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk into Akyaka. Or take a taxi which are inexpensive.
The area feels like it is in upmarket resort of about 4/5 hotels which all have excellent views of the sea, There are extensive sunbathing areas, some more private than others.
Akyaka town is a busy town with lots of eateries and bars too numerous to mention. We ate at a number of establishments. There are a number of high end bars which are very modern and still little bars/eateries that are more traditional. Something for everyone.
We did a Riverboat cruise (again) which was enjoyable and walked to the beach with the Windsurfers.
It was a little cold at night towards the end of September so take a jacket (just in case)
We visited Delli Memet for cocktails etc. Lovely set of servers who were very attentive and respectful.
We also visit a lovely restaurant just off the beach in Akyaks, very near to Yuculin Hotel. Where you overlook the kayaks in the sea; we have been there a few times and the food is lovely. You can then walk along the boardwalk towards where the boats are moored.

Beautiful little town, excellent restaurants. We were the only British there and everyone was so helpful translating menus. Or used google translation. The river is absolutely beautiful. Wouldn't recommend weekends as extremely busy with turkiah families having weekend away

Beautiful charming town with river Azmak and unique architecture. Excellent location with a good climate.
There is a variety of restaurants with local and international cuisine.
Besides local beach there are few great bays 15 minutes away by foot.
If you are into kitesurfing, you must visit local Kite beach which is 15 minutes away by car.
There are few excursions worth of going to the beautiful bays for swimming and Sedir island with Kleopatra beach. Cooling in Azmak river just the way locals do is a must!

Akyaka has the most friendly people and welcoming charm...
Akyaka has the most friendly people and welcoming charm about it. The staff in all the restaurants are wonderful and very attentive. Great food and plenty of bars with live music in the evenings. Still away from the normal touristy and very popular with the Turkish people themselves as a holiday resort. Quite small but perfect for a totally chilled week in the sun with plenty going on should you wish for it. Wonderful, cannot recommend enough. If you want pumping nightclubs its not for you but the bars are open till late and the atmosphere and friendliness is second to none.
located in maybe the most beautiful little coastal villages in Turkey I have seen, all buildings nicely decorated with wooden staircases, balconies and railings. very friendly and helpful host. also, had one of the best breakfasts here that we ordered extra, and was absolutely worth it. Short walk down to the beach and promenade, which might get busy during high season, but still gave a nice vibe (yes, touristy, but not as bad as other places).
We had one of the large rooms on the first floor with a big balcony. Beautiful room with a lovely bathroom. Huge bed. Balcony was spacious and had a roll down shade. Felt very luxurious for the price. You can walk into the centre along the riverside which is lovely, takes about 10 mins passing resturants etc. Akyaka is a lovely Turkish seaside town with a relaxed vibe. Mainly Turkish families on holiday.
I absolutely adored the Totelya Hotel in Akyaka! The embedded natural beauty, Mr. Bahadir's exceptional hospitality, and the delightful breakfast he personally serves, made it a memorable stay. Plus, easy access to both town and kitesurfing spots - it's a perfect 10 all around!
Location is perfect, best beach in Akyaka. Restaurant is great, big variety of food and very delicious. Breakfast is perfect. Staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Very clean room & facilities.
Nice quality feel to the hotel and room
Lovely buffet breakfast with option to eat at the poolside
Lovely pool
Room well proportioned with new furnishings
Free car parking where parking is desperate
Location is really good. Place is quite and is NOT in the center of Akyaka which was good for me. However in 10-20 minutes walking I was able to get to it. Nice breakfast. Own parking lot.
We liked the breakfast a lot with a wonderful view of sea, mountains, fishes and friendly dogs. Hotel is located in a very peaceful and nature surrounded place, smelling pines and sea.
Perfect location, friendly staff and exceptional breakfast are the key highlights of the Totelya. We spend a couple of days at Totelya to try out kite surfing at akyaka kite beach.
Super peaceful in quiet bay just around the corner from Akyaka. Beautiful views and amazing location of dining area on the water front. Service was amazing, plenty of smiles.
Cosy tiny house with a beautiful view of the ocean in the distance. Kind staff who were happy to help us with anything! Cute kittens around the hotel were an extra plus.
