Cozy well stocked affordable home in a pretty little town. Karen was waiting in the driveway for us. Very friendly and let us know about things going on in town and said she was only a phone call away if we needed anything.

The location was central but on a busy street with not much interest. The food was very good, simple (eggs were cooked to perfection) but could have been a bit more creative. We are foodies who were there for the Roots, Rants & Roars food festival so not a fair comment ; )

Elliston is a nice place which is mostly know for its puffin viewing site which should be on anybody’s visiting list. But beside that you can discover a lot of Newfoundland history within the community, root cellars included and meet the incredible friendly people, listen to their stories and take a tale home with you.
