Just a perfect little white town with views forever. A hikers' paradise. Dozens of trails to choose from. The thermal hot springs beside the river were very relaxing. It's a pity the Hotel Balneriao was closed.

I didn't have time to take a long walk along the river through the Natural Park, which looked beautiful from the town above. As for the town itself, to get in and see places, you have to take one of the guided tours; otherwise, you can't go into the historic buildings.

A nice town, recommended to us by friends. Easy access for a day trip to Granada which we did on one day. 2 small supermarkets for food shopping and plenty of restaurants to eat at. The town has an amazing gorge and was an interesting walk along the gorge.LucyUnited Kingdom

She prepared a very nice take-away breakfast for us, which we grabbed on our way out at 7AM. We were able to park our car on the street in front of the hotel. We also ate dinner at the hotel. The outdoor terrace space is very nice overlooking the gorge, though we unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy it. The owner suggested a hike down into the gorge before dinner, which was excellent!TravelingBandIsrael

Alhama de Granada is definitely a gem amongst all the destinations I’ve visited during a two week trip in Spain. Especially , if you’re seeking peaceful vibe, the small town can definitely accommodate you for a day or two. The room is clean and modern and provides best views of the valley and hills. Also, the owner is super friendly and helpful.
