Beautiful area for walking and looking out for wildlife. Lots of good food to eat. The Top house Inn, Coast, Jimanjys Thai and Polpear cafe at Lizard point all had excellent food. If you can stay at the Old Bakery, Lizard.

Lizard is a beautiful little town with some stunning scenic coastal walks and a handful of some good pubs and eateries. Could spend a week here exploring all the walks and the different types of ales and beers!

The food at the hotel was exceptional, we had breakfast and evening meal which were delicious. The South West Coastal path runs along the bottom of the garden of the hotel so was easy to access so very good for walking. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly at the hotel. Our only criticism was that the beds were too hard for us so we didn't sleep very well.

We first fell in love with The Lizard almost 30 years ago. We love how relatively unspoilt it is. Walking the coastal path is just amazing & we have so many favourite places we visit year after year.,

So many places to see- if you drive, so much to explore, this is a must, you’ll never regret it. There are Michelin stars restaurants in a 20 min drive area, you xan see surfers riding the waves in November, it’s so lively

The location is perfect right at the back of the Top House hotel and the chip shop which serve wonderful cod and chips. The Haelarcher Farmhouse and Helicopter B&B is lovely and very comfortable. What i did find fascinating was the real Helicopter in the garden, apparently a pilot who flew it still lives in the village and it was a working machine at the Culdrose naval base, Caroline let me take a look inside it and it even has a bed and most of the flight deck a real boys toy, i would love to sleep in it on my next visit to the Lizard

The hotel ist just magical and we enjoyed everything about our stay. Our room was modern, clean and usefully furnished. Even though it did not feature sea views, the downstairs sitting room and the terrace more than made up for it. The whole hotel is very tastefully decorated and the staff was just wonderful. The food at the restaurant was delicious and service prompt and friendly. I will dream about this wonderful place and hope to come back.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. They even hoisted the flags of our two home countries for us - what a special treat! We enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee, toiletries in the shared bathroom and a high level of cleanliness. The breakfast was exceptional with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and different warm options to choose from. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back.
