Riverside location and outdoor seating are were lovely. boat hire and public slip . lovely hanging baskets and tubs outside but all changes inside where tatty surroundings and lack of restaurant and bar staff is a really depressing
Breakfast does not start until 9am and has no staff apart from grumpy till person trying to do all jobs. eat elsewhere.
Bar rings for last orders at 9.30 on Sat/Sun.
This not a hotel to enjoy , just a barely adequate place to sleep overnight.

A lovely place to stay right on the banks of the river Thames. The room was clean and comfortable with the best tea and coffee making facilities I've ever seen. If I could offer some advice it would be to upgrade the lighting in the room as it did feel a little dark.Very happy with my stay thank you.

A lovely Cotswold town with plenty of small shops including a very well stocked licensed health food store. A selection of eateries including high quality pub grub, super Indian and fish & chip shop. Good river walk along the upper reaches of the Thames.

The location was fabulous with lovely river views and towpath walks. We ate outside at The Riverside but the burgers were dry and tasteless and chips horrible. There was no ‘free’ breakfast as it isn’t available except Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The parking is confusing as it is a private pricey car park and it isn’t until you check in that you are informed you don’t have to pay and given a windscreen notice. Lechlade itself is beautiful. The Riverside is fine to stay over just don’t eat there.
I traveled here for a family wedding. The location was perfect as only a few minutes from the venue.
The rooms were spacious and clean .The outside rooms were ideal for my elderly parents as no steps to contend with and a large walk in shower.
The breakfast menu was extensive and well cooked using quality produce.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
A great hotel !
Pretty much everything. The only problem was that a drunk driver had seriously damaged the bridge across the Thames causing the road to be closed which is the only access to Lechlade from the South. This has seriously restricted trade and caused earlier closing hours in licensed premises - including The Riverside. Not the fault of the Pub, of course.
the food was delicious, the breakfast especially was superb.
the morning staff were very friendly and helpful. a dark haired girl on the evening who I think
may have been kitchen staff was absolutely lovely.
dog friendly, with lots of walks in the local area.
the general cleanliness was excellent, and the cleaning lady was also lovely.
Great location for our needs.
Friendly and helpful staff
Clean and attractive Accomodation
Tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary bottled water and an invite to have a complimentary drink in the cafe.
Good WiFi in an area where phone signal is poor.
Fantastic breakfast
Excellent location on the banks of the River Thames and a five minute walk into the centre of Lechlade.
Good sized double room with a single room off and good sized shower room. Lovely thick towels.
Tea/coffee/biscuits provided and complimentary toiletries. Excellent free WiFi.
Perfectly located and well equipped accommodation. Very clean and tidy, We used it for a small family reunion and there was plenty to do in the area and it was not far to travel to either Lechlade or Burford, both very attractive towns. We'll definitely recommend it to friends.
The location, the hotel’s bar & restaurant.
Plus friendly staff.
Also good parking spaces.
Love the room and the character of the hotel and of Lechlade itself.
We definitely would recommend The New Inn Hotel as a good place to stay , and hopefully we will again soon..!
Very cozy, comfy room. Slept very well. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was fantastic, delicious and we were able to take a couple of slices of scrumptious homemade cake home. Great place to stay within easy reach of the beautiful Cotswolds villages, quiet location.
The house is in a good location to access the lovely town of Lechlade and other attractions such as the wildlife park. The rooms are good sizes, the back room is nice and the shower is really powerful. The litlle bottles of shampoo etc and the hamper were a nice bonus.
the coffee shop at Vera’s attached to the accommodation was fantastic beautiful breakfast lovely charming staff. The room was very clean also the bed was very comfortable. we really enjoyed our stay at Lechlade. lovely little town with much to see
Lovely combination of modern comforts combined with old charm in the oldest inn in the centre of Lechlade. Peaceful, warm, quiet room and a comfy bed. Parking available at the back was very handy.
Friendly, welcoming staff, fantastic, spacious period room, very comfy bed, good bathroom. No breakfast or evening meals available at property, both available nearby.
