We loved our weekend in Knaresborough at the Christmas market and I would certainly recommend anyone to visit. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and lots of privately owned shops which is a bonus these days. A walk along the river is a must with a cafe to pop in for a hot chocolate when it’s chilly!

Lovely craft shops, including wool shop always a favourite with my friends. Wide choice of cafes, easy bus trip or train journey to Harrogate. Charming riverside walk, plus castle ruins that you can wander around.

Charming ,stunning,relaxing, picturesque! a gorgeous town with spectacular views especially from the castle! !Good selection of restaurants takeaways( loved Drakes fish &chips ) and pubs easy to get around, a bit hilly from station up to market place and from the station down to the waterfront but flat otherwise Definitely recommend

A beautiful place - so glad we didn't stay in Harrogate, as it is only 4 miles out. Views from the castle ruin are stunning and shouldn't be missed. Drive down to the riverside walk too The fish and chip restaurant in town is very good.MoBrngUnited Kingdom

It was more spacious than we anticipated, and extremely well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. Hollins Farm is also perfectly located for visiting the surrounding area, we had a fabulous day at Fountains Abbey which was only 20 mins down the road, and a lovely lunch and wander around Knaresborough, which was even closer! Thank you Racheal, for a really great stay 😊

We arrived very late due to the breakdown of my motorcycle but the Manager had stayed late to welcome us and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The next morning, at breakfast we were offered a takeaway lunch for our onward travel and the whole staff team, were supportive, kind and keen to help.
