Loredana greeted us warmly at our late arrival as we were seated for dinner before our check-in to the hotel. The meal was magnificent sitting outside on a cool September evening in the beautiful courtyard. The location is a treasure. Just slightly off the beaten path from Ascona but my what a path! Hiking into the Maggiore Valle is truly magical as you feel like you have been dropped right into the middle of a fairy tale. The staff is warm, friendly and make you feel at home. The stay includes a pass for free use of all public transport which is really added value.
