This is a true gem. Olov and Christina made us feel very welcome, it was like staying with friends. The breakfast is excellent. Make sure to have dinner there as well, the food is outstanding! We stayed in a very picturesque “herbre” close to the water. The beds were very comfortable and we slept like logs. No running water in the “herbre”, but that was easy to deal with since there is a bathroom in the main building nearby.

This countryside B&B is located along Route 321 west of Lake Storsjön, and 31 mi from Östersund city center by car or 2 ferry transfers.
