The room was immaculate with clean sheets and a really comfortable bed; the bathroom and toilet were separate and were spotless. The room had a fridge which was a great bonus on a very hot week, a balcony that overlooked a wood to the rear of the Hotel and a superb seating area to the front where you could have a drink. The breakfast was superb as was the location and I would like to thank all the staff for running a fantastic Hotel, especially Frederick on reception.

The most exquisitely decorated, spotlessly clean boutique hotel with the kindest, most accommodating proprietor. Huge shower, large bath (Glory room). Time stops here; everything is unhurried and harmonious. Stunning breakfast. Lots of gluten free options. A truly fabulous experience.

Nice B & B located just outside center of Ypres. A 10 minute to the cloth hall. Nice accommodations and breakfast. Very friendly staff that loves to hear your travel stories. Do beware of the steep stairs with luggage if you have mobility issues. It is a 1 minute walk to the best restaurant in town B'Artiest. The best restaurant we ate on our entire trip in the country. Make reservations ahead of time. Its worth going to Ypres just to eat there.
Hostellerie Kemmelberg is in a stunning but rather sad...
Hostellerie Kemmelberg is in a stunning but rather sad location as it overlooks "Flanders Field" where there are memorials to WW1 fighters every few km, including one 200 m down the lane. The location is great, the food can be excellent, BUT be warned, you are fed at the discretion of an arrogant and dismissive Chef, who is entirely happy for you to wait 2 hours between courses, while he potters about doing other things. You thought you were there to eat, he has other ideas. You have been warned...

if you want somewhere to explore the WW1 this is perfect as the room we stayed in looks over fields that was once the front line.

Wow! This hotel is amazing. We upgraded to a better room and it was everything that we were promised. The views from our room were spectacular. The room was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable.
We had no issues reserving a table for dinner, and what a dinner it turned out to be! The food was outstanding and the service was great. My wife has a food allergy, and they created dishes to accommodate this without fuss.
Breakfast was excellent and checkout was seamless. We will definitely be staying again.
The hotel is really beautiful with interesting decor and well presented, clean rooms.
We arrived late and the staff were most helpful in getting us into the hotel despite everyone having left for the night.
The breakfast was excellent and the views fantastic.
We only spent one night but will be returning for more in the future.
Have stayed in this hotel before. It has a superb location and the front room overlook the valley towards France. Service and friendliness of staff excellent. If you like walking or cycling the hotel is perfect and you can leave the car at the hotel and enjoy the countryside around.
