This town is not very known and was a complete surprise for us. A well preserved town through the ages with an old city center and a huge castle located in a valley in an interesting landscape! This part of Gemany (Thüringen, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt) is a cultural Mount Everest with the culture of marvelous historic architects and builders, music of Bach, Händel and others and religion/philosophie of Luther a.o. to take care of and they do!

The owner wen extra mile and was very helpful with getting us accomodated at late arrival after 12 midnight (as our flight were delated and we had to travel from Berlinn to Altenburg in the evening)
