Allensbach is a very nice small town close to Konstanz.
Allensbach is a very nice small town close to Konstanz. It has great options for food and is only a short drive to many local attractions. Public transportation is easy as well. In warmer weather, try the Seegarten for a wonderful evening meal. Great Biergarten food on the lake with plenty of outdoor seating. Kid friendly as well.

My room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The staff at Hotel St Elizabeth were extremely welcoming and helpful, making my stay extremely enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and there were so many options to choose from. A lovely way to start the day, as the restaurant area is bright and airy and looks out on beautiful leafy courtyards. A short walk to the train station and you can be in Konstanz within 10 minutes.

Breakfast was also very good for 3 reasons: - Very helpful chef - What was there was fresh and good quality. - There wasn't a huge choice of items. I like that because I'd rather the hotel offered smaller and fresher variety than waste too much just to impress. It was also very short walking distance away from the lake and local attractions for kids.
