Ahlen seems to be on a downward leg.
Ahlen seems to be on a downward leg. There are only a few high street locations that are left attractive. Good level of industry, though, major manufacturers have their locationg there, eg Kaldewei and Winkelmann.

Only one problem with communication due to staff don't speak English too well, but except that wonderful place. Last breakfast prepared by owner before restaurant open time especially for us, because we have to leave very early. It was delicious!!! Truly recommend local beer-very good! I hope to visit this place in the near future. S.K.

It got a bit chilly towards the evening and we didn't know how to turn on the heating so one of them came to the hotel just to help us out which we really appreciated. Very clean and centrally located, I would stay there again next time I visit Ahlen.

The hotel is close to the train station and the center of the town, which was very convenient for me. The breakfast was simple but good. I'd stay here again once back to Ahlen.
